I was so repulsed by the appearance and location that I didn't attempt to contact whoever had left their phone number taped to the door. This place is a wreck- even at that price.

No rest
The front desk attendant was taking a shower when I arrived. A family was already waiting and trying to reach her. When I checked in she was very rude and kept repeating the same phrase even when I clearly said I understand. She even gave me a very disgusting room after marking a nicer one. I have had a better experience here with the day attendant. None the less, I am never coming back.

we seriously considered leaving. there were only two cars there. the place was locked down. Seedy neighborhood. More like a no-tell motel. Since it was late and prepaid we stayed and it turned out ok. Adise skipping this place even though it was very cheap. Jim

Understand you are getting a fabulous bargain it is a great value for the money. My main complaint was that if the heater/AC was on you got a musty smell. They need to clean the unit and change the filter. I told them at the front desk as I was leaving and they were very nice about it.

We arrived and they said they only had smoking rooms (despite our reservation for non-smoking room). They also said they would not respect our Expedia reservation, so we would have had to pay again. We left.

Horrible stay
We booked a 2 night stay in an Econo Lodge with complimentary breakfast. When we arrived at the property, we had a hard time finding it, as it is no longer an Econo Lodge, and it was dark and rainy. Upon checking in (the front door was locked and we had to wait for someone to come open it and let us in), we saw a sign that breakfast is not being served due to Covid spikes in the area. The place is very rundown, and we could spell cigarette smoke from another room when we used the bathroom fan. Upon checkout, no one answered the door (locked again) so that we could return the key cards.

Couldn't understand staff due to language barrier. Also my 1st room was canceled without notice. I had to have my friend jump thru hoops because my room was canceled. Even me showing the confirmation email saying that my card was still charged.

I felt unself in the hotel. The main door was locked and we didn't see anyone inside. I was sure I didn't have a place to stay. The room was clean but the bathroom needed some work. Scarey place. I would not go back

The room was modern and clean, and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. It's located in proximity to many stores and fast food restaurants. The exterior is not maintained and the grounds are weedy and deteriorated. There is no EconoLodge sign on the road to indicate where to turn, so be sure to use navigation to find it. We could hear evidence of the people in the next room talking, so the walls are pretty thin. We wouldn't go out of our way to stay here again, but their prices do beat other chains in the area by quite a bit.

I’m not sure how this place is even able to stay open. Too many negatives to get into in this space. Suffice it to stay, I didn’t feel comfortable staying there with my son and since we already paid in advance we just left and stayed at a different motel.

Avoid at all cost
The room was really gross. Stayed in Econo Lodge the night before and that was good. This location, the room smelled like alcohol was spilled all over the carpet three weeks ago. The room has not been vacuumed in weeks. Found old receipt from two weeks ago from previous renter, right next to the chair for the desk. Along with other obvious debris left from the past. The TV did not work and had to go to front desk at 6:00 pm to get someone to come and fix. No one there, called service number on front door, no answer. Walk all around 5he property and found the person that check me in and she came to room to fix TV. I thought I needed a battery for remote but the tv cable needed to be replaced. She called someone else to come and fix. The room was so dirty that I was afraid to sleep under the covers for fear of bed bugs. Also sign on front door from town stating that they tried to do some renovations but did not get the proper permits.

Checking in, the woman was rude and told me that we had ordered a smoking room, which was untrue. My confirmation from Expedia clearly said we had reserved a non smoking room. She said we had to take the smoking room because she had no nonsmoking rooms available. Whether or not that was true, she could have been nice about it, offered to air out the room, give us some Febreeze, anything. Instead, she was just nasty. The room was horriid. Smelly, burnholes in the bedspread, a carpenter ant in the bathroom. Worst place we've ever stayed.

I, a single woman, showed up around 9pm after a long day of stress and driving (looking forward to my hot take out I had just picked up) to find a dark, empty parking lot, a man on a motorcycle out front, and not another soul to be found to give me my room key. The man stated he had been trying to check in for half an hour already, and was kind enough to stand far away as even he could sense how unsafe the situation seemed. A sign posted on the door read "for a room call" but despite an hour of waiting and calling, no one came. Whoever was supposed to be working that night should be ashamed.

Everything was nasty from the outside to the rooms. The employee had her child standing on the table where people are supposed to eat their breakfast with his bare feet when I checked in. Everything in the room had stains all over it. The shower curtain was brown it was so stained. The iron had soot plastered to it that ended up tearing a hole in my husbands very expensive shirt. People clearly are living there with their belongings scattered all over the sidewalk in front of the room doors. I could go on and on. Do not recommended!!

A truly disgusting hotel. Worst I’ve ever seen. Stains on all sheets and furniture, room covered in dust. There is no breakfest provided (as advertised), there is no fitness center (as advertised). It’s pretty evident the owner is living in the lobby with his wife and kids. The Econo franchise should really look into this location.

When I requested a room downstairs, the desk clerk took the opportunity to extort $20 more dollars, He insisted it had to be in cash and I have no doubt it was going directly into his pocket. When I asked for a receipt, he refused. It wasn't like the place was fully booked. By car count early the next morning, only about a quarter of the rooms were rented. The property has been marginalized by poor accessibility from the highway. It appears poorly maintained, surrounded by closed businesses. That said, the actual room was comfortable.
