Motel is old and tired, but the location is great and the young couple who run the motel are very helpful and kind.

It had everything I could want in a low-price hotel.

Went for homecoming and for the price of this hotel, I have no complaints. While the family who owns the hotel appears to be updating as cash flow allows, the room was spotless clean.

Very cozy and charming little hotel

It was very cozy with rustic wood paneling. The heater was very comfortable, but it took about 2 hours to get the room warm. It was cold outside, about 30 degrees F and the room was cold when we got in. The heater is not forced air, but the electric element that warms the room via gentle convection. I prefer this type of heater because it creates no noise at all and the warmth is natural, not the forced warm air that dries out noises and eyes. WiFi is OK at best. It keeps getting interrupted. But when it was on, it was pretty fast. The breakfast area is very small, only room for 5 people. Only juice, milk, coffee, tea and bread and English muffin plus cream cheese and jam. I liked it but others might find it too simple. I liked the coziness very much. A train rumbles by a few times at night, but it is not too loud to interrupt sleep.

Weathered, but Inexpensive

Posted Dec 27, 2015
It's a fairly quiet Motel. Although it's old, it looks renovated in the past few years (new carpet, new paint). The bathroom fixtures were broken in our room. Also, the heat was turned off in the room, so it took an hour to heat up from about 60F to 75F. But, the staff is nice, the room was quiet, parking was good and check-in was easy. If you want a good cheap place to stay, I would recommend it.
