Good location, clean hotel for extended staysPosted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, kitchen and bedroom, two TVs
Cons: Better supplies in kitchen and more and better towels in bathroom. Directions on what to do with garbage.
Location: Too many to name but you can easily walk into Pittsfield for theaters and restaurants
My stay at the Yankee Suites was very pleasant. The rooms were extremely clean and the location is excellent. It was quiet and suited our needs for relaxation and house hunting in the Berkshires. However, I thought that the kitchen could be better stocked, the towels were very skimpy, and there was not enough room to put food garbage in pails. I wished that the garbage could have been taken out every day or that there were directions on where to bring it. Maybe I missed that.

Anything we requested in addition to what was already there was provided immediately... Larry was extremely helpful and personable. The bedding was quite elegant, but we would have loved a lighter weight blanket when the duvet was just too warm but we needed a little something... They did bring an additional blanket but it was very heavy...

Practically perfect.Posted Jun 30, 2015 on Hotels
Beautiful room, very conveniently located right next to a main strip of little shops, theaters and restaurants. We brought all of our own food and were able to store it safely, roomy refrigerator provided- and all cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates... Everything provided. There was a dvd player, and we were able to have movie nights, and a back balcony to enjoy coffee on the porch or read a book in a heavily wooded area which provided a nice shady view to block the parking lot. The front desk was very open to requests of we needed anything. We arrived late and didn't even have to check in-- the hotel called us prior to our arrival and gave us all the instructions we needed to get into our suite. Absolutely wonderful place to stay... And gorgeous view of the Berkshires as you are driving in.

My stay at Yankee Suites Extended stay was very nice. I booked the queen suite which came with a full kitchen. Not something I necessarily needed (mainly just wanted a queen bed) but it did come in handy and was nice to have the option of using. I did like that there was an actual seperate bedroom--I was expecting everything to be in one giant room as most hotels are, although it was a little uneasy having the second door to the suite in the actual bedroom, which lead right out to the hallway and was directly across from the main entrance. Regardless, it made me feel a bit safer that all the rooms as well as entrance had a code. It was also nice that every room had a balcony/porch. One thing that did bother me a little was that the bedroom had no window. That's just a personal preference of mine as I am use to having natural light come into my hotel room since most hotels don't seperate the bed from anything else. I do know that the layout of all the rooms are rather different though. Aside from that, the staff was really great, tv in the bedroom and kitchen was a plus and the location and overall upkeep of the hotel was good.

below expectationsPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: It was clean although very basic in amenities
Cons: New furniture, new decor. New mattresses are all needed.
Location: Great restaurant To eat at "District Bar"
Tired and dated in need of TLC. Office was closed at time of our check in. We were given codes for doors via text. Wifi password was never given so we were without wifi. Shingles from roof on driveway outside.

A win-win!Posted Mar 18, 2015 on Hotels
It was great to have a kitchen and a large open area outside out back deck. We will definitely recommend this hotel to visitors in the area.

Good value apt style roomPosted Feb 2, 2015
Nothing fancy but good value apartment style rooms with full kitchen. Good for a short stay with a family.
