I want to thank Nidhi for helping us get our money refunded from Alice Springs Walking Tours. This company asked for full payment in advance and would not respond to our emails. Also Joshi was very kind and carried my very grave suitcase up the stairs to the second floor for me.

The Quest Alice Springs is everything you’d expect; clean, comfortable, modern and a little soulless. Check in was very efficient and impersonal, room comfortable and swimming pool a relief after a long drive. Located next to the river, the property is close to the Town Centre.

Stayed for 2 nights during peak season so was quite expensive for what it was. Kitchen was small but we didn't intend to cook anyway, bathroom was great with an excellent shower, bed was really hard and not comfortable, linen and towels were worn and need to be replaced, was a very quiet and safe location with secure parking and gated car park next door when hotel car park was full, and was lovely and clean. Hotel staff were lovely and always watched out for guests arriving late so they could unlock secure car parking next door when car park was full. The only issue we had was the water went out completely without notice the second day around lunch time and came back on by late afternoon and the day we checked out we had no hot water. Advised staff of course and they were polite and apologetic but were unable to fix.

All good except we didn’t get our hot water shower for first two days of stay. Communicated with property manager but not much done. Don’t stay at 33B last unit in the line to get hot water supply.

Need a car
This hotel is not suitable for tourists unless you have a car. We did not. Although walking distance to town centre is 20 minutes, this is not suitable at night. Alice Springs Taxi service is not good and Uber is not at Alice Springs and so dining out at night was tricky.

During your stay, there was a conference in town that made arranging a taxi a bit more challenging than normally is and we are sorry that this caused inconveniences. Good accomodation in Alice Springs
Can be noisy. Sometimes i came back at the end of the work day and they were still cleaning the rooms. It would have been good to relax in your room without having the cleaners still trying to clean your room.

Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Staff were excelent Annie on reception when we arrived could not do enough for us and changed our room downstairs as I am having treatment and not that good walking.The next day the Reception made sure I had my own parking space for the rest of our stay . The Hotel was clean although a little out dated but in good condition .

The staff we dealt with were all pleasant, helpfully and competent. There were a couple of minor maintenance problems but were soon addressed. Parking was an issue at times because they allowed parking at night that blocked exit in the morning. They did not use the overflow parking available next door.

This property is marketed as a 'Luxury' property and I would like to know what part is the luxury. The foyer is really lovely, but that is it. The room was dark and musty, carpet in room and hallway in need of a good clean. The bed was held up by 3 novels on one of the legs and had collapsed in the middle. The bathroom was in need of an upgrade, you couldn't adjust the height of the shower head and when you tried the pipes inside the wall moved. The drain must be blocked as there was a smell and the water was slow to drain away in the shower. There is not enough parking for all the guests, so they had an overflow area, but once the car is locked in you cannot gain access until 7am the next morning, so we found we didn't go out at night as we did not want to miss out on a car park. We could hear noise from other rooms. We stayed here for the last nights of our stay in NT thinking we were paying extra for some luxury, this is definately not what we got, very disappointing. Not sure how they got all the other positive reviews, we would not stay again and would not recommend.

Housekeeping was terrible as was overall condition of our room. Bed only had three legs when we arrived then the base was replaced. Bed sheets were paper thin and looked like they had been there for years Have used Quest before but never again

Booked and paid for accommodation only to find out after an 18 hour drive at arrival there is no booking! In a town where everything was booked out I had to rely on my local church
