The hotel was perfect for a one night stop for me on a business visit to the Netherlands. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. Somebody made me a fresh omelette right there for breakfast, right in front of me 😀 There is a rail track that runs at the back of the hotel with regular electric trains, but that wasn’t a problem for me.

Disappointing stay
The room was dirty i found dirty socks on the chair, there was lits from bottles in the shower. The person who ‘cleaned’ this room obviously didn’t care. The room was next to entrance of the floor, so slamming of door all the time and people talking loud in the hall. The parking lot was full of empty bottles and food wraps. When i came back one night there was 1 parking spot left all the way in the back, there were group off people hanging there drinking and smoking. That late at night gave me an unsafe feeling. All In all an disappointing stay.

Great location for travel
This hotel is full of working people. It's in a great location if traveling. Only 35minutes from the airport. Beds are comfy. Rooms clean. Staff friendly.

Great location friendly staff great place good parking facilities definitely stay again only let down was cleanliness of the room in certain areas for example the bathroom was slightly dirty example of this is left over razor cover on top of shower wall and some dirt on the wall like a line of shampoo but I enjoyed the stay, and Bastion have always been a good experience, thank you

Nette kamer voor een fair prijs. Citytax a 3.50 pppn is idioot maar daar kan Bastion niets aan doen. McDonald is op 10 mtr. afstand en heeft een uitstekend ontbijt a 8.25 voor 2 personen. Voor senioren was dat meer dan genoeg.

Was visiting Rotterdam in connection With Rowing worldcup. Ok location for reaching the Rowling stadium and morning jogging. Excellent service, Nice Roma and solid breakfast. Alltogether a Nice 3 days stay at Bastion.

The hotel was some way out of town, but walkable from the nearest station which connects with the tramway. Would be more convenient if arriving by car. Impressive lobby and friendly staff. I was allowed into my room despite arriving at 12.30 when check in doesn't officially start until 14.00. Very comfortable room with nice bathroom. Disappointed that there wasn't a kettle, but not the end of the world. There is very little choice of hotels in Zoetermeer, but this seems to be the cheapest (possibly due to the distance from town). I would certainly consider this one if in the area again.

Overall good service from friendly staff. Nice extra’s in the weekend like upgrades and a free drink. Great shower and bed and that is what it is about! Ideal parking lot and very close to the highway. Just a good place to stay for reasonable price.

Good stay.
Basically good stay. It was a last minute booking when we were 3 hours out from the hotel but check-in went very smoothly. Our room was clean. It did, however, have train tracks adjacent to the hotel but we didn’t have any train noise during the night when we were trying to sleep, only in the late evening and early morning.

We highly recommand this hotel.

Found the distance into Den Haag a mission on public transport. Missed last train & tram back from the city so an expensive taxi journey. More suited to business travellers. Pleasant, helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Room was a bit cold until heating was activated. Quiet.
