It is the perfect hotel for business travel: you’re not right in the middle of midtown/time square so you don’t have as many issues with tourists, yet you are blocks away from all the tourist activities plus Central Park; the hotel doubles as residences so the staff are very helpful and the common areas are clean; it’s not too fancy but it does have more of an adults-only/mature atmosphere. The rooms are all suites and generously sized. I stayed in the junior executive suite which had 2 bathrooms and could sleep 4 between the bed and sofa bed. It’s the perfect setup for working remotely in your room since there is a little dining space separate from the bedroom. The kitchenette comes with a dish washer, big mini fridge, microwave and dishes, which is a rare find in NYC and very helpful if you like leftovers. The bed itself was more comfortable than other similarly rated hotels in the city, you can’t hear the street from inside your room which is so nice given the location, and the housekeeping was polite and timely. The onsite restaurant and gym were also quiet, well kept an well staffed. Overall, this is the perfect hotel for business travel, working remotely, for adults especially older adults, or for those who want to avoid the tourists while still being in proximity.
