It starts with a chatty lady at the desk, too much chat & little action, paperwork should have been handed prior to arrival, she manually entered every piece of info anyone qould ever want to know about a 1 night stay, way overboard, then she gives my wife & i a room right next to the noisy road when others were available. The hotel room was way out dated but adequately clean, curtains were paper thin so light was way too bright, bed was hard & pillows were hard (give me a My Pillow plz). We enjoyed Thermopolis & the city hot springs & will be bak, but not to the Rainbow motel.

Wonderful location near the HotSprings, lovely park to walk your pets. The neon lights kept me from sleeping soundly. Needs some updating but has tons of potential.

For the price. I have no complaints about the property. Everything is antiquated/outdated. My main complaint about this motel. There is no air conditioning. Received a call from the proprietor prior to us arriving. She seems to be concerned about you having pets and if you're going to show up. During check-in she mentioned something about a swamp dehumidifying / air conditioning system. All the years of traveling I've never encountered this. All this system does is make noise. A simple fan in the room would have been a lot more effective. The listing specifies air conditioningin the Room. in my opinion this is not air conditioning. The room was very warm and uncomfortable,So I wasn't able to fall asleep until well after 2:30 a.m. upon arrival she offered us a bucket of ice. Next morning when we woke up the water was yellow. Not sure what's up with that. Definitely would not recommend this motel. I generally like to support small independent business owners. But after this experience I might just consider sticking to corporate chain establishments. Usually they have some centralized quality control.

Walking in room barefoot left our feet dirty. For a no animal hotel, the room next to us had a dog that barked all night. The front desk lady was very sweet and very helpful with the town and things to do.

An old motel in need of upgrades. No AC, but evaporative cooling that was incredibly noisy and did not work at 1st and I had to adjust the float. For some reason there were holes drilled into the walls and doors. I think they purposely gave me a crap room for booking with Travelocity. At least the shower was fairly new and clean.

I liked the area and was happy we got a different room due to the ants in the first room. Staff very friendly. Very old ceilings and bathrooms and water pressure was not so great, but it was cozy and comfortable.

I booked The Rainbow motel in Bend Oregon yesterday. We drove there this morning#.5 hour drive) and did a 10 hour climb of south sister. 10,200 elevation mountain.We were driving to the Rainbow and I noticed a text saying we might be late.I called the# and it was for the rainbow in Wyoming!!! What happened? We had no where to stay and had to drive home.We arrived home at 2;00 AM AFTER CLIMBING A MOUNATIN???? I hope we won't be charged for the Wyoming stay?

Home away from home
This hotel was perfect for my family of 6, room was full of closets which made storage easy and the space more comfortable. Beds were clean and comfortable, this room felt l like a small apartment (home away from home), and the restroom was clean. Motel manager was super nice and very personable, owner was also very kind and understanding. We would absolutely return to the Rainbow Motel when we return to Thermopolis next time.

We thank you for bringing this to our attention. The carpet had recently been cleaned but unfortunately we could not get the stain out. Therefore, we have plans to replace it in the falls when things slow down a bit. Sorry the bed was not comfortable for you. We all are used to our beds at home and all have a different comfort level. We get many compliments on our beds and how well they slept. The window in the bathroom was recently cracked by a customer and we have plans to replace it when business slows down. The window is still functional and is only cracked. We all have bad days, including myself, and hope you come back again.

Rundown, motel next to noisy highway with dated indoor carpet, furniture and bedding. This place is gross!

This individual did not even stay here. A reservation was made on 10/3 and we guaranteed the room with a credit card for two nights, 10/16-18. I messaged this guest via Expedia message, at 9:34PM the night they were supposed to arrive inquiring about their ETA. No response. My message was read at 7:46AM the next morning, still no response. Per our cancellation policy with Expedia, the motel and the guest, we only charged them for one night's stay even though they booked two. The guest messaged me on 10/28, 10 days later, asking about the charge. I responded four times via Expedia message. The customer didn't respond, so I called the guest and left a message explaining the fee and that if she would have called Expedia and cancelled with a minimum of a 24 hour notice, she wouldn't have been charged. I told her that if she had any questions to please call me. She never did. Instead she left a bad review. Our main street is very quiet. Our rooms are nice and very clean. Long story short: read the cancellation policy and don't leave a bad review because you were in the wrong.

n a remote area, but we had a great stay.
It was a little dated, but the room looked spotless and it had everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. The hostess was very friendly. The bed felt a little hard, but we had our best night sleep there! Convent to a wonderful restaurant for dinner.

This quaint hotel was super clean and the rooms are huge. The owners couldn’t be friendlier and had tons of local tips. Super close to the Dino Ctr and Star Plunge (and the amazing ice cream at Dairyland. We can’t wait to visit again!

Old but very comfortable
We stayed for one night while we visited the Hot Springs State Park. The motel is very conveniently located to the hot springs and the pools. The motel is old - I'm guessing maybe built in the 1950s but our rooms were spotless inside. The sheets and the towels were white and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the corner unit which had 3 beds in 2 rooms. The extra space was great.My only complaint was the 10 am checkout. All of the other hotels on our trip have had 11 am checkout so I felt a bit rushed especially since the bed was so comfortable that I wanted to sleep in.

Just a place to sleep and take a shower. Check in was accommodating but charged for taxes above the Hotels.com rate which already included taxes, owner said he would take care of it so I will check my credit card bill but have no reason to doubt him. Nice People.

The people here are GREAT! Faye is the best—she’s a kind & helpful person and a terrific concierge. Big bonus is a separate room with 2 twin beds for the kids—way better than the usual 2 queens set up.

We provide refrigerator, microwave, WIFI, flat screen tv's with 55 channels of cable, nice comfortable beds,tub/shower, super clean roooms and great service and competitive prices.

If you are ok with dated but clean, stay here.
It’s an old hotel but still clean with a little bit of charm. Price was high but others in the area even higher during the time i was going through. The 0.4 mile walk to the one eyed buffalo brewing was worth it. Great food and great local beer.

I was in Thermopolis for a Boy Scout event. I was a volunteer and after a long day of working it was nice to come back to a clean, comfortable room.
