They gave me a room the was directly on the highway at street level, very noisy. Also, AC in the room barely worked and did not dehumidifier, I was drenched!

Room was tired but ok - as was the rest of the hotel. Receptionist was unhelpful and vague. Went down for breakfast on the second day and there was not one clean table, all the food was gone, the coffee machine was not working. I could understand if this was right at the end of the breakfast service, but this was 7.30 in the morning.

Not what I expected from a 4 star hotel
I stayed for 5 nights. On my first night I had a COLD shower. Thought it might just be late in the day and tomorrow morning there will be hot water. The next morning same thing no hot water. Call up reception only to tell me that hot water works on a first come first served basis so who ever wakes up early will get water. just ridiculous. I moved rooms as they thought it was my shower. New room has warmer water but can't say it was hot. I didn't have to adjust the temperature. overall a disappointing stay. The staff were rude Alda in particular. Hardly spoke English and didn't even try to understand you. Walked away from me at one point as she was mid doing something. Found her especially rude. I will not be staying here again.

No Air Conditioning
Everything was fine except there was no air conditioning. I do not mean not working well, it was broken and a sign at check in said there was no air conditioning in the whole hotel. This was at the end of August and it was hot. I was told to just open up a window which tilted open all of about 3 inches. The climate in the room was very warm and stuffy. I had to sleep on top of the covers. After staying there I looked at the reviews and this has been a long term issue. Yet they advertise on Expedia that they have air conditioning. I barley tolerated it with a provided fan, but had it not been so late in the evening I would have found another room somewhere else and demanded my money back From Expedia for breach of contract. It is inexcusable that I was not notified of this situation. This is my first booking with Expedia and unless they refund me it will be my last.

Perfect Location and Priced Right!
Unbelievable location on the edge of the Altstadt adjacent to the River and the Parks. Walking distance to some of the finest restaurants anywhere, I think I gained 5Lbs! Just great. We toured by car to some of the WWI Memorials and Graveyards nearby on the weekend of Memorial Day, remembering the American's contribution throughout the last century to the freedom of Europe and my Grandfather, who luckily returned home alive

Au tarif de la chambre bien en dessous de la qualité d autre établissement Mercure. Chambre très mal insonorisé côté route, je ne conseil pas.

Disappointing but good location
Should be a 4 star hotel according to hotels dot com but was a disappointment. Very worn out look, very basic, bad smell in the reception. The room was ok but toilet was placed so it was almost impossibly to sit on it. You had the wall in your face. Hotel had no parking. The breakfast was very basic. Location was excellent and the day staff very friendly.

Hotell för att besöka Thionville
På bilresa genom Europa. Centralt beläget hotell som saknar egen parkering. Svårt att nå med bil. OK rum med connecting door. Välkomnande personal och god Covid anpassad middag på rummet.
