After we checked in to Econo Lodge, got to our room and it reeked of mold smell. There were roaches in the bathroom, dead and live bugs in the bathroom light fixture and disgusting dirty toilet seat. The laminate floors were sticky, the a/c didn’t work properly and the tv was so small that the people in the bed by the windows could hardly see it! The lighting was extremely dim! Only 2 towels, one washcloth and one hand towel! Not enough for 3 people! The website said there was a a continental breakfast, but there was an even fresh coffee in the morning. The hotel front desk person ended up moving us to a suite due to the bug and mold issue but that wasn’t any better. In the suite, there was still mold in the bathroom, there was food left in the microwave from the previous person that stayed there, plus the microwave was disgusting, the AC didn’t work so it was very humid in the room, the lighting was very dull and they taped the back of the remote and taped one of the light switch covers because I guess they’re too cheap to replace them. The toilet paper holder was also broken. This Has to be the most disgusting one store hotel I’ve ever stayed out of my life. 0h by the way, the first room looking out the window was too a power grid plant or whatever it is so there was no view whatsoever and the pool was closed also. They blamed everything on Covid. Give me a break!
