The shower stall was amazing. I was shocked to see such a shower I’m a Motel 6. It was huge all tile slate about 8’ long with a built in seat on one end. Rain shower head. Seriously 6 people could fit in it and not rub elbows.

Absolutely horrible. Checked into my room around 6 pm. Took a short 2 hour nap and was woken up by a horrible garlic stench. We assumed the room next to us heating up their food so we opened the door to air it out. The room was clear of the stench but it lingered in the bathroom for hours. I left out for the night and returned around 1:30am, the bathroom still smelled horrible (even with the vent fan running all night). When i returned i also saw 2 small to medium size roaches/water bugs. I assumed they came from the large hole from the missing tile in the shower, which was exposing all of the piping. Im sure the smell also drew them to our room. I went to the front desk, showed the photos I had taken and requested a different room. He told me the rooms were sold out. However, I did not believe that seeing how there was only 6-7 cars in the parking lot including my own. He offered me bug spray which I just could not accept because killing them does not stop more from entering my room. I asked if a refund was possible, he told me no because I had “been there all day”. At that time it was 1:30 am, right after I got back from my night out. I told him I have only been checked in for a total of 6 hours but still had over 9 hours until check out. He gave me an attitude but began to process my refund. While doing so he was made lots of unnecessary comments that I could not fully hear from the check in window. Definitely one of the worse motel experiences ever.
