below average and dirty!

- staff was not at desk when we arrived. Had to call a phone number multiple times to get someone to the front desk to check us in - upon check in - we had a very tired 10 year old and our room was next to a party. Called front desk at midnight and the man was not helpful and said there was not much he could do. Slamming doors. Loud music and loud laughing. Lots of people in one room. Not cool. We couldn’t sleep until after 1 am - next night - loud laughing. Music. Doors and hallway talking. - mold in the bathroom on upper walls above shower and all along the sides of the shower stal. Gross - my daughter left her stuffed animal on the bed. Housekeeping did not make up her bed because it was a personal item - seriously? That’s what I am staying and paying for a hotel!!!! - breakfast room was atrocious. Wires coming up underneath an eating desk. Overturned furniture with blankets against the wall. Watery eggs. Looked dirty. Unkept. And certainly not safe with wiring coming out of the floor under our feet!!!

As I hope our front desk staff explained, we are in the process of a complete renovation and the Breakfast Room was just completely furnished this weekend so any issues regarding wiring etc. have been resolved. I apologize for the noise issues, but October is a very busy time for weddings and those guests are difficult to keep quiet. When we are quite busy we have a security guard on site to help with these noise issues. It is our policy to leave any items untouched to avoid the liability that would come along with removing personal items before our staff makes up the beds. It is done for the guest's protection. We are addressing the mold issue as well. The hotel was opened in 2005 and badly needs the current renovations. Please know that your feedback is extremely valuable to us. This is an old hotel that has had some minimum upgrading. $175/night was a bit steep for what we got.

In general, we have worked hard to minimize the impact of the renovations which of which we are much in need (as the property is almost 15-yrs-old). Renovations on our guest rooms start in November of this year and the entire renovation will be complete by March 31, 2018. We have been quite busy the past few weekends with multiple weddings and the increased occupancy has driven the rates higher than one might expect to pay for a property this old. Pleasant Hotel

Cons: I didn't realize that you could special order eggs. Perhaps a sign indicating the type of eggs they will prepare.
Location: Location was fine. Nestled back in a very quiet area . It can't be seen from the road. Convenient to gas stations and highway.
Room was very comfortable with the exception of a very noise refrigerator, which I unplugged. Other than that,, the room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

Nice hotel

Pros: Everything but the lack of air in the exercise room. The employees were very welcoming.
Cons: Fix the air conditioners in the exercise room.
Location: We were there to see a family member so did not do sightseeing. There were a number of restaurants and stores nearby.
We had a little problem finding this hotel as our rental car did not have GPS and the phone number we had on our paperwork had been disconnected. The continental breakfast had everything you could want and then some. Our room was large and comfortable. The exercise room had new and fantastic equipment...BUT NO AIR CONDITIONING, There were two units in the room and neither worked. We were there for 3 days and each day the room was hotter than the day before. Even the cleaning staff sweated in there!

Pretty darn good

Great breakfast and staff, comfortable rooms. Beginning to show its age--peeling wall paper, wads of dust above doors, but on the whole a good deal for the price.
