Thank you for staying with us. Aside from being near your work site, we are centrally located near restaurants, shopping, good, theaters, hiking trails, and being close to the freeway, gets you to the Ronald Reagan Library, parks, and beaches within minutes. Next time, come for a couple of extra days and Visit Conejo Valley!

Very Nice Hotel

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: The room was well furnished, new carpets, very clean. very comfortable.
Location: This hotel is about 45 minutes from Santa Monica. Easy access to the 101 freeway and very near to a shopping mall and chain restaurants.
The hotel was very good. The room had been refurbished recently (I stayed there in early March 2017) and the bathroom appeared to be new. The room was very comfortable and quiet (it wasn't facing the freeway, so I can't say if those rooms were quiet). The access area to the room was also very clean. The door to the room opened out into an open-air courtyard which was very nice. I didn't have breakfast here so I couldn't tell you anything about that, but the staff member who checked me in was chatty and pleasant. I would stay here again.

It was a pleasure having you stay with us. We are constantly updating one thing or another another, most recently the bathrooms and new furniture in the courtyard. We treat all guests as friends and family visiting our home from our of town, and hope to see you again soon.

Nice Stay

Posted Feb 25, 2017
Comfortable and clean, spent 5 nights and no complaints. The attached restaurant was some of the worst food I've ever had and was way, way overpriced. The stomach paid the price immediately afterwards. Beware!

Everything gets "10" at this Best Western Plus. Cleanliness is a given, rooms are great and staff is uniformly polite, knowledgable and well-informed.

We believe and treat all of our guests as friends and family visiting our home, which makes service natural and hospitable. Of course, our location at the center of Thousand Oaks makes us a great location to all of the stores, restaurants, theater, parks, Reagan Library, and other attractions in Thousand Oaks and the Conejo Valley.

We believe the arts are a critical component of the community and are proud supporters of the resident companies and performances at the Civic Arts Plaza, including, most recently, Dirty Dancing.

Disappointed - Hotel for many truckers use

Posted Jan 3, 2017
Pros: Free Parking, Breakfast bag, near by shopping, room size was good, free internet.
Cons: Service, Sofa Bed, etc
A few things to note: many Truckers use this hotel because of its proximity to Highway, it took too long to travel to LA on daily basis to attend various tourist attractions (lost 2 to 3 hours every day), price is a little steep for Canadians who pay in CAD Dollar, sofa bed was really bad. We rented a suite but did not have enough blankets & we requested blankets Hotel Staff were un-sure if they had enough at hand.

Thank you for your feedback. Truckers, primarily McLane Food Service, have used us because of our proximity to the freeway and large parking lot, but we have enough recently instituted a no truck parking policy, which notified McLane in December. One of the great things about Thousand oaks and the Conejo Valley is our proximity to destinations and price. We are right in the middle of LA and Santa Barbara. That means you are less than an hour to anything from Downtown LA west to Santa Barbara (just avoid rush hour), and at a price 25-50% less than LA hotels or beach hotels. In addition, we are the safest city in California with the most open space, parks, hiking trails, etc. of any city in America. Unfortunately, the CAD is low now, but hopefully, that means more Americans will be travelling to Canada this year. My family will be visiting Vancouver in May for this reason.
