A few things to note: many Truckers use this hotel because of its proximity to Highway, it took too long to travel to LA on daily basis to attend various tourist attractions (lost 2 to 3 hours every day), price is a little steep for Canadians who pay in CAD Dollar, sofa bed was really bad. We rented a suite but did not have enough blankets & we requested blankets Hotel Staff were un-sure if they had enough at hand.

Thank you for your feedback. Truckers, primarily McLane Food Service, have used us because of our proximity to the freeway and large parking lot, but we have enough recently instituted a no truck parking policy, which notified McLane in December.
One of the great things about Thousand oaks and the Conejo Valley is our proximity to destinations and price. We are right in the middle of LA and Santa Barbara. That means you are less than an hour to anything from Downtown LA west to Santa Barbara (just avoid rush hour), and at a price 25-50% less than LA hotels or beach hotels. In addition, we are the safest city in California with the most open space, parks, hiking trails, etc. of any city in America.
Unfortunately, the CAD is low now, but hopefully, that means more Americans will be travelling to Canada this year. My family will be visiting Vancouver in May for this reason.
