Very cold hotel room after asking for the heat turned up. House keeping try to push the latch on the iver after being told to come back later .very unsatisfactory will never stay there again

Not nice

Cons: Replace carpets in rooms and passages, repair leaking roofs
Location: Good
I could smell the moist carpets as I entered the passages and in the room, a bucket meant for collecting water from a leaking roof on the way, stained carpets etc

The room

The room was set up good when I rolled the covers down on one of the beds the pillows and sheets had an smell like body Oder to them

Outdated and smelled

Rooms are outdated, no AC had a window from the 60s that opened but had no screen, no elevators to bring luggage to second or third floor, room had a wierd smell to it, and beds were uncomfortable. Definitely not what you would expect for the price they charge. Only plus side is the staff was nice and the food at bar was decent.

Clean hotel, enjoyed the pool

Pros: clean, very comfortable.
Cons: fix the extremely rough and broken parking lot. Improve the hotel sign so it's more easily visible from the street.
Location: mini mall, work-out centre & Tim Horton's within walking distance. Starbucks and restaurant at the Valhalla across the street.
Kids enjoyed the pool, in house restaurant makes it easy to eat without the hassle of leaving the hotel. Has a nice large lobby with fireplace to just kick back with a coffee and book.

Older but clean & cozy

Pros: clean & cozy. close to airport.
Cons: Clearer more bolder name of hotel sign.
Location: There's a mini mall & Tim Horton's within walking distance. Also a really great work out centre all in about a 10-15 walk from hotel.
Older hotel, terrible signage (hard to see the name of the hotel) rough parking lot. Customer service excellent, rooms are exceptionally clean & cozy. Price is comparable. Restaurant inside makes it enjoyably easy to get a great bite to eat. Airlane is usually my go to place to stay in Thunder Bay.

2 different hotels

Pros: Loved the setting lots of restaurants close to shopping etc. I am unsure if we would return there For sure we would stress a non-smokers room
Cons: rugs in corridors are worn out and smell make breakfasts a must
Location: close to restaurants shopping
First night suite room worth the $ clean comfortable what we had looked for 2nd stay we were placed in a dump room that had had smokers in it it was horrible we asked to be moved which one employee was very agreeable to do found one a little bit down the hallway to the left I t was like it was a different hotel clean bed comfortable enough and clean no smoke smell BUT did not include any breakfasts

Don't believe what you see

Pros: The staff
Cons: The whole hotel needs a complete paint job and the carpets need to be replaced as they are very soiled.I
Location: Difficult to find the entrance as there is construction on the road and in the parking lot.
The staff were very accommadating. However the hotel is old and quite delapidated. Except for a few rooms the beds are quite soft. The different entrances were dirty.

Can't believe Expedia lists this hotel!

Pros: Location
Cons: I think this place is too far gone to clean, everything needs to be torn out.
Location: Close to highway, some fast food nearby.
Dirtiest, scariest hotel we ever stayed at. Actually felt unsafe.
