The hotel is easy to find , ample parking , clean and a great breakfast for those who just want to get back on the road.

Easy to find

Pros: Newer section of town
Cons: Parking spaces a bit tight for trucks
Location: One a Main Street close to gas and coffee
Well located clean and comfortable We stayed one night great breakfast Easy to find Rooms were very clean with a variety of pillows for everyone

Hotel totally friendly and comfortable

In a central location for the twin cities the staff made this stay totally enjoyable. The breakfast was phenomenal. It was included and although stated to be continental it included eggs pancakes waffles and oatmeal. The person maintaining it was exceptionally friendly. Very enjoyable.

The staff was very friendly and we arrived very late and they let us stay additional time to sleep because we had arrived so early in the morning

Very poor people skills

I traveled to Thunderbay from Winninpeg. This was day 4 of my travels accross the country. I chose to ensure that I always had enough cash to pay for my room in advance and cover any security deposit needed. When i entered the Best Western i noticed that it was a little dirty but perhaps that was because it was a very busy day. There was no one in line so I walked up to the counter. The young lady there was on the phone and refused to make eye contact with me. Once she was off she busied herself with papers for a few minutes more and then welcomed me to the hotel. I checked in and attempted to pay with the credit card that I booked the room with. It would not pass and that was expected after 4 days of travel and I had warned her of such before. I had more then enough cash to cover all expenses but I was refused accommodations at the hotel because my card would not work. I ended up staying at the Hampton Inn across the highway and they were amazing. The free breakfast was good the service was number one and my stay was one of the best experiences ever.

I am sorry to read that your credit card was declines. Unfortunately, we do not accept cash security deposits. As we rarely deal with cash payments, we have a very small change float at the desk. All monies received during a shift is deposited int he drop safe. If we had received a cash security deposit it would have to be deposited and not available for the refund in the morning.

Nice hotel close to the highway

Easy checkin & checkout. Close to highway. Hotel staff very friendly. Changed room from traffic. A pizza hut and gas station just steps away. Convinient if you are just passing by.
