The Valhalla is a nice hotel. The staff were pleasant and check in / check out was a breeze. Only think is the hotel is getting slightly outdated, but the parking and shuttle for the airport are great.

The room and bed was comfortable and reasonably priced. The only thing that was bothersome was the smell of cigarettes in our room...not sure if we were in a non-smoking area though. There was also a pile of dust in the corner of the room. Otherwise, the lobby and restaurant are nice and have a quaint chalet feel.

Rooms are spacious with all the amenities such as fridge and microwaves. Hotel food is great and like the coffee shop in the lobby.

Nice clean room with a desk & easy cell charger access. Quiet. Decor Outdated & worn out/rippling of carpet. would stay again & again.

They gave up my room!

I prepaid the hotel then called to confirm my late arrival. They assured me my room was confirmed. I arrived at he hotel as confirmed after midnight and they still gave up my room. I then had to wait for taxi to rake me to a different hotel. In excusable!!!!

Nice friendly hotel, nice room, excellent staff. The only problem I experienced there was the keys kept de-magnetizing. I have a magletic wallet that holds credit cards just fine but that and my phone kept wrecking the keys.

Immediately adjacent to the airport.

Pros: Proximity to airport, car rental. Restaurants and stores close by. Though old, rooms are comfortable. Staff were knowledgeable and polite.
Cons: Hot tub and sauna were broken.
Location: Thunder Bay is NOT a tourist mecca....
Rented a room for three days in order to attend wedding of a friend. Multiple attendees stayed at hotel also. Hotel is old and the latest renovation is showing it's age. Room wallpaper peeling, bathroom faucets had constant drip.
