Disappointing
We selected Ramada by Wyndham Weimar since they offered a swimming pool. Otherwise we would have chosen a hotel downtown of Weimar. However, their swimming pool was not open, in repair, and should not have been listed under their facilities. Very disappointing. In addition, the breakfast was boring, all the same. In addition, one day they did not have scrambled egg, since this was not delivered, but no substitute was offered. The choice of breakfast is good for one-night stay, but not for three nights.

A decent hotel ...
We stayed here while visiting friends in Weimar. The hotel itself is located a short distance (a couple miles) from what I would consider the geographic town center. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. My wife is very particular about where she stays while traveling and, while this wasn't her favorite hotel during our trip, it met her standards. The hotel

The Overall condition of the property got disappointing from our last visits in this hotel. Additional charges for parking and for pool towels were requested. Room interior was also not at that level which we were used to. Double room booked, only a single glass available mini bar not filled, no nit disturb tag available.

Check in wasn’t great. A person with a “security service” / Sucherheitsdienst checked us in and we struggled with our communication. I am German just saying..we got checked into a room where someone was already staying and received a half hearted apology. Upon my return to the reception my registration card was still on the desk so I guess my personal details were up for grabs that day 😲 we tried to order room service but nobody picked up the phone, the in room shirt press was broken but couldn’t be replaced or fixed as we needed to dry a shirt we were at least offered to use the hotel dryer. Room key stopped working 3 times during a 4 night stay. Breakfast was good but very busy. Pool area is very nice. Overall we enjoyed the facilities but service is a bit poor. Checkout was very efficient and friendly though!

Nice hotel overall
Nice hotel, however, it could do with faster lifts or better signs to stairs. The carpets in the main area were a bit dated and a bit soiled. Other than this, the hotel was really good value for money and would love to give 4.5 if I could.

2nd hotel in drive through Germany
Great stay. Good food on the buffet. And room service for my grandson. Easy to park, easy to check in. Not used to keycard type and thought it was deactivated, but in fact, we didn't know to insert quickly and pull out.

Great option if you're traveling by car
We were traveling by car in a big vehicle, so parking was important. This hotel was about what I expected from a Park Inn by Radisson - fairly clean, nice but not too fancy, decent customer service. The building is starting to show its age. If you're traveling by car, this location is great. It's in a business park several kilometers from Weimar, and has a huge parking lot. If traveling by public transit, it's not very convenient. We would stay there again. And if you are like us and arrive needing groceries and a laundromat, there is a great Kaufland (with food trucks in the parking lot) just a few km away, and the SB Waschsalon in the center of Weimar is awesome, with good parking and a bakery around the corner.

Nice stop-over hotel
We stayed in this hotel en route from Poland to Belgium. Very nice reception area, some very pleasing features in this hotel. Unfortunately our stay was fairly short, checked in 6 pm and out at 9 am the following day so as unable to use the hotels facilities. But impressed enough to return for a longer stay on our next trip.

Good impression but nor cooling?
After long drive for one day stop it works fine. You get what you expect from Park Inn, and benefit, that you always know what to expect. Simple. That would be the case elsewhere. However during a hot day to reveal you have no air conditioning in all hotel brings one question - whaaat? Of cours, its not the worst point, but would really bring more advantage to hotel.

Good hotel near Weimar city
Hotel is located outside Weimar, near the high-way. It is pet friendly (we were with our husky dog) and many people came with their dogs. Near the hotel is a big field where you can walk your dog. There is a swimming pool – very nice, sauna (we didn’t tried it). Rooms are nice, clean, quiet and spacy. One thing that can be misleading is that in hotel description rooms are said to have air-conditioning. We ordered a standard room and when we came staff told us that air-conditioning is available only with higher standard. It was a bad surprise since the temperatures outside reached 35C, but a temperature in the room was acceptable (cooler than outside). Staff is trying to be friendly but they are not very well trained. Room service works fine. Distance to Weimar is 5km so you can either go there by car (many parking spots) or by bus (bus stop is in front of hotel). It is a lovely city with a very cool park.

Booked air-con - didn't get it.
It was a priority for us to have air con in the summer in Europe and I booked this hotel for this reason. However, it turned out that all roooms have either air con or a balcony. Ours had a balcony. This was doubly unacceptable as we had two young children and had no way of locking the balcony door. The hotel flatly refused to do this and also sounded surprised when we pointed out the potential hazard. Next morning I showed them that their hotel advertised all rooms as with air con and they very grudgingly gave me a 6 euro discount but refused to let me speak with the manager. Throughout, the manner was generally off-hand. This is the first negative expedia review I have written but did feel the need.
