A clean hotel with a good breakfast. Close to Gera sud railway station rooms in the process of being renewed with new carpet etc. Helpful staff.

Some heart in Gera
Had a great stay in this little hotel. Rooms were a great size and the staff were lovely. In a quiet stree you can get a good nights rest!

I would return
we had a late checkin. was greeted by a welcoming receptionist with a big smile on her face. Check-in was swift. We received the room keys and already in the room within 5 mins of arrival. The parking is behind the hotel for EUR 6,00 extra which was also mentioned on the website. We checked out early in the morning so didnt eat breakfast. Overall a pleasant stay and I would return. The carpet in the room and everywhere else needs replacing. Tea/coffee making facility in room would also help relax. I would say its more of a 3 star hotel than a 4 star. The wifi is an extra.

Nice hotel and town
Wonderful hotel in good area for everything. The room was comfortable by U.S. standards. Highly recommend it.

The hotel was reasonably sufficient for what we needed. We didn't plan to spend much time in our room as we were touring and traveling. The pull out couch was extremely flimsy and nor comfortable...but the room was clean. The breakfast although not included, was good, and the staff was helpful.

Das Hotel ist eine einzige Baustelle (außer Zimmer, das war immerhin fertig gestellt); beim Buchungsprozess keinerlei Hinweis darauf.

To my standards this hotel deserves above 8. We have not experienced the breakfast. The city was partially shut down due to COVID.

Ich habe bei der Buchung im Hotels.com filter mit kostenlose Parkplatz und Kostenlose Internet gefunden aber Parkplatz musste bezahlt werden und WiFi auch nicht im Zimmer vorhanden.

Okay aber weit von 4Sterne Niveau. Was überhaupt nicht geht, ist das auf den Zimmern kein W-Lan verfügbar ist und das Hotel keine Anstrengungen unternimmt, den Zustand zu ändern!

It is okay for 1-2 nights of accommodation. It has a very nice parking possibility. Room is big and comfy. I can stay again if I need to visit Gera again.

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und hat Charakter. Das Zimmer war klimatisiert und es liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend.

Wenn man ein Zimmer betritt und es schon alt, muffig und staubig riecht, dann sinkt die Stimmung. Klimaanlage angemacht... es stinkt noch mehr und staubt ohne Ende. Zimmer zur Strasse raus, obwohl nur wenig Gäste da waren. Der Name "Royal Inn Regent" klingt nach etwas Gutem, aber am Ende ist es "Garni Style" der schlechteren Art gewesen. Ich werde hier nicht noch einmal Gast sein!
