Great stay!
Great stay! Spacious rooms with kitchenette and a sofa in the living area. Comes with washing machine. Walking distance to Taikoo Hui and other shopping area. Service was outstanding too. Only grief was that there is only a wall socket on one side of the bed and none that allows USB charging so bring your own universal adapter.

The hotel cleanliness and location is good , however the reception and lobby staff are not attentive and helpful. In fact, the reception staff are rude and not service oriented. The cleaners were very nice and attentive though which we are very appreciative and is the plus point of this hotel customer service. Please do train your staff. Also I do not understand why changing from 1 king bed to 2 twin beds is consider upgrade and need to pay more?

For the record, the two bedroom with one king bed and 2 twin bed is a family suite which has much bigger size than the two bedroom with 1 king and 1 queen bed. Hence it is upper room category in our room configuration. Anyway, There is no doubt that the Customer Service team shall work harder to improve the efficiency of our communication skills and the training in guest preference. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Great location. The residences are very nice, well maintained and clean. Customer service was OK. The staff at the Pool did not have caps for us, and would not let us swim without them. Did not seem tolersnt to the fsct that we didn't live in the building and know that. Other than that a great place to stay

Located near a mall. the bellboys are very friendly and helpful. The check-in counter staff wasn't very helpful when we tried to ask about restaurant recommendations. The room was nice, view was good, but was infested with mosquitoes (I smacked 4 in less than 2 hours). Breakfast restaurant food quality wasn't great.

The bed is super comfy and the size of the studio is big for 2 persons. The metro is quite a distance away.... but the surrounding full of eatery and malls.

Everything is good in service, however the room is too small and much smaller than what I expect 50 square meters, look at other hotel in beijing and Nanjing, their 50square meters room is visible.

Excellent place to stay for Business
We stayed at the Oakwood during a business trip in April 2019. The hotel was lovely and the stafs were extremely accommodating. Our room was a 1 bedroom suite which was spacious and very clean. The bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff went out of their way to meet every whim, from directions to room service, taxi service and restaurant and shopping recommendations. Location was perfect for walking to all amenities.

I enjoyed my stay at Oakwood Premier Guangzhou. The staff were very helpful before my arrival and during my stay. They always found a staff member who spoke English so I was able to communicate my needs and get timely service. The room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately the cable was under repairs and the TV was out of service on and off. Also, the room temperature was quite cold. The gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi were large and not busy. The restaurant food was ok, overpriced for what you get but it was convenient for me.

I liked my room and the night view. I wanna return here next year because it's simple to communicate what I want. I was comfortable. I wanna try a different room I think since the room I got was great. Just imagine what a step up from that is.

Excellent, comfortable stay
Stayed here for two nights in early January, and was quite happy with our stay. The property was very luxurious and modern, a proper 5-star. It is a western chain so the front desk staff speaks excellent English and are generally fairly cosmopolitan and sophisticated. (The bellman on the ground floor can use some proper training, but they were friendly and helpful nonetheless.) The location of the hotel was quite convenient, with a few subway stations within walking distance, and many restaurants and shopping options nearby. Our room (on the 33rd floor ) was spacious and very comfortable. The décor was very modern, luxurious, clean and chic. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was of good size and very well designed, with a laundry machine, steam bath function in the shower room. The kitchen was well equipped with nice equipments/flatwares/utencils. The Wifi in the room worked quite well. The hotel has a huge, very well equipped gym, and a beautiful covered outdoor pool. Overall, a great experience, at a very reasonable price!

Great Hotel with Affordable Rate & Good Service
I received an offer from Hotels.com while searching for accommodation for my last two nights in Guangzhou. The room is modern, well-maintained and super clean - which is helpful if you have any health or allergy issues. View of Guangzhou skyline from the room is fantastic. The availability of washing machines allowed me to take care of my laundry after traveling around China for nearly two weeks. I also like the fact that there's a kitchen in the room, which gives me the flexibility to do light cooking or even to heat up my food. Staff are generally helpful and able to converse well in English. They saved me the trouble of booking a taxi to get to the airport. Even though there was a small hiccup with my reservation which resulted in me getting charged twice, hotels.com was willing to refund the second transaction. I will definitely stay at this place again if I ever travel to Guangzhou in the future. My other recommendation for Oakwood is it will be nice if you offer a membership rewards programme. This will give more incentive for solo travelers like me to stay in Oakwood properties for future travels.

Very spacious and comfortable suites. Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Though need a bit of walk to train station, its still conveniently located near a few popularcshopping malls and many eateries just across the road. Oversll very good value for the price we paid.
