not walking distance to station
i choose the hotel because it is close to railway station. However, it is almost impossible to walk there. So if you plan to walk from hotel to station, you should stay at the opposite side of the station. Other than that, the hotel is not bad.

A little far from center of city but subway is a short walk away. Two subway stops to Teemall and city center. East railway station next to subway station. Niot much around hotel.

Decent hotel close to subway
While the hotel is out of the city its well priced and rooms are huge! Very comfortable beds and the house maids were excellent! Easy to get to GZ east station to go explore the wonderful city!

Clean and nice hotel close to East Station
Clean, tidy and well maintained hotel. I enjoyed the welcome message by the housekeeping staff and a small chocolate bar. Quiet view to some resident and households. Supposedly not too far by walking distance to The Guangzhou east station but the detour (with the pedestrian bridge) will make the journey harder for people with large luggage.

Room upgrade made me happy
Arrived from international flight to hotel at 1sm and was given upgrade from standard room to suite ... so very happy though realise that doesn't happen all the time. Left next morning so didn't get a chance to try out the hotel facilities or local area.

Not worthy of hundreds of dollars for not so great stinky rooms. We had to call customer service to get TV remot, ironing, and safety box fixed. Do not trust the safety box for valuable items it is fake. Ask for a receipt for every transaction otherwise they will charge you for the same transactions again.

Awsome hotel, great staff
Stayed here for 2 weeks Was a great choice. Had good buffet breakfast. Made eggs as you want them. (Not included in your hotel price, and it was around $20dl per person) Staff was great, most could speak english some even spanish. Ever helpfull to help youout. Ex when i went into town they loked it up online and and wrote in down in chinese and got the cab and they explaied the cab were you were going. Rooms were nice ans clean. Always left my stuf inside the room nothing got lost. Dinner at the 3 hotel resturants were good all 3, but were overpriced in my opinion.

Great for canton fair. 5 mins from metro.
Very very helpful staff. Big rooms. They do a proper room service everyday.

A Gem of a Hotel
The hotel is easy to get to. If you have little luggage, you can walk to the hotel from Guangzhou East Railway Station/Metro. Just head towards exit 'J'. On ground level, you can look towards your right, and you will see the "R" that stands for Ramada. Head towards overhead bridge that takes you across the expressway. It takes only 10 minutes to arrive. If you have lots of luggage and need to take a cab, you need to tell the cab driver the Chinese name of the hotel, which is 'jia hong hua mei da'. Best to ring the hotel and get the name right before you set out. Once you know your bearings, you will find that the hotel is convenient and offers value for money. The reception staff speak English, and we got everything we requested for. The room is spacious and clean. The room lighting is fine. Wifi is available in the room and it is not slow. There are a couple of convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel. It is a 10 min' walk from the Metro station (where the mall and restaurants are), but this turned out to be an advantage because the Metro station is always crowded, so it is good to be a little away from the station. You are close to the mall but not too close.

Could do much better
Avoid if you are a business traveller. Room are dimly lit and ageing. Hotel staff well meaning but most struggle to understand English. Food is appalling.

I have booked 2 nights with 2 adults including breakfast paid in full. However including breakfast was for only one person therefore i need it to pay extra for another person. There was no fine print that it was for only one person. Also on the find print for any additional breakfast was RMB 50. However Hotel charged me RMB 100+ Tax. I have showed our print from Hotels.com, Hotel said they don't understand and didn't honored.

Rooms lightening is depressing The hotel is a bit old The hotel security is awful, anyone form outside can get the elevator with no check by the hotel staff! If u don't find accommodation elsewhere this place can be considered

Nothing special, but convenient
Located near the Guangzho East Railway Station makes this place convenient. The value for money was okay. The breakfast offered the standard basics. I didn't use the gym, but the photos were not exactly luring me to try. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. WIFI connection was very good.

OK Hotel to attend a Trade Fair
Hotel has nothing next to it. Location is terrible.The staff were generally ok and most of them could not understand or speak English. Warren the Assistant Duty Manager was nice and so was Benny at the Chinese restaurant. We stayed for the Canton fair and they provided a bus to go and come which made life very easy. Leo who works at the reception probably has the worst attitude ever in hospitality management with a terrible attitude to his fellow workers, to the Duty Manager and to guests. We saw him speaking extremely rudely and shouting to his team members. He also did the same with us which is an absolutely terrible attitude. He thought we were all doing him a favour since we feel he was under the impression that he was the owner of the hotel. The Spa in the hotel is also a rip joint who insisted that we take the full body massage instead of a foot massage. When greeted you feel that you are probably going to a shady spa.

Nice Hotel Close to the metro station
I was there for a business trip for 7 days. The staff spoke english well enough. Rooms were clean. Service were excellent. They offered us with anything we requested.

Difficult to get Taxis here
Due to the location of this hotel, it was very difficult to get a taxi in the morning and early evening hours. Also the hotel staff was not very knowledgable and most of their english was limited at best. i would not stay here again nor advise it to foreign travellers

Really enjoy my stay at the hotel. Close to the subway but far from shopping. The overall of the maintenance is good except the shower area. It needs to pay attention for regular regrout between the marble or tile and reseal some area where silicon turns mold and mold dew with brown and brown spots appear. Other than that, I don't have any complain. Very well train staff. Definitely will be one of my top choice at others Ramada brand locations as well.

This hotel does all the essentials right for a business trip and it's particularly convenient if you're arriving in Guangzhou by train from Hong Kong.

Very Clean
The hotel was very clean and had two resturants and a pool. Great place to stay. The only down fall is the hotel is not close to shops or resturants. I was on business so did not have time for shopping so it did not matter.

Location, Location
This was just a quick one night stay so did not use many facilities in the Hotel. Location was great very easy access to Fair and a free bus in was excellent. Booking in staff was ok, more english by at least 1 staff would have made easier but this did not worry me. Concierge and bell boys out front were excellent from running out to road to get bags from Taxi and easily booking a train to Hong Kong. Very Helpful

Very nice hotel but a bit far away
The hotel was perfect, but too far away from the City Centre, where we had the meetings. But if you want to be close to the East Railway Station, it is the perfect place to stay.
