Great experiencePosted Sep 20, 2015
The rooms and building are a bit old and need some minor renovation here and there, but the rest is just exceptional. Don't miss the tours with Hezi @ the farm and @ Rosh Pina

The deluxe suite was very comfort and full of space. It is very clean and the Jacuzzi inside was awesome! The food is all produced from a local farm of the hotel and the meals at the restaurant is very special and tasty. This is a place for just closing your cellphone and get relaxed. A place of nature and silence.

Nice spa hotel, could use some updatePosted Jan 21, 2015 on Hotels
I took my mother to Mizpe HaYamim for her birthday. It was relaxing and nice, and even though I booked the classic room we ended up being upgraded to the suite, so the extra living room space was a nice touch! Pro: 1) they have 150 dunam of fields where they grow their own fruit and veggies. That's what they use for their super fresh food! You can really taste the difference! 2) FOOD. As good as it gets. Fish, salads, stews, desserts and wholesome breads (their in house bakery). Mostly Organic. 3) Tea corner- every herb you can think of picked in the morning and ready for you to make your own complementary tea 24/7. Coffee too, and they have soy milk! 4) pool and jacuzzi overlooking beautiful view 5) fun tour of their fields and livestock 6) their soaps are made in house from essential oils of plants they grow 7) fruit and water waited for us in the room CON 1) jacuzzi in room wasn't working 2) a teapot in room could be nice, especially on "8th floor" where you need to climb stairs and have no elevator 3) Hair dryer is SO old that the plastic turned yellow. For the price we pay for this hotel they can make sure the rooms are updated.

Beautiful Grounds, But Ready For A MakeoverPosted Jan 2, 2015 on Hotels
Mitzpe Hayamim is perfectly situated in the mountains between Rosh Pina and Tzfat and the grounds are amazing. The location is also a great launching pad to explore the Golan and the Galilee. Unfortunately, the honeymoon with the hotel ends there. While it prides itself on being a healthy oasis, the hotel is extremely outdated and is in desperate need of a renovation. The breakfast and dinner at the dairy restaurant (which are included in the half board) are mediocre at best. There are some lovely touches, like the tea bar, the spa and the artist colony in back, but overall, the hotel is claustrophobic and dusty.
