Hotel was noisy and uncomfortable, the food in the restaurant was overcooked.

Pretty good

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Pleasant hotel , slight smell of damp in our room. Restaurant was good but closed on Sunday like most other restaurants in town , something they should consider . Breakfast was limited with poor gluten free selection, e.g. no gf bread available, poor selection of fruit. Food in the restaurant in the evening was good, with food suitable for a gluten free diet.

The hotel had everything we needed , including laundry facilities . However, the bed was a bit too hard for me.

Nice hotel. Close to the historic sites in the area. The room and amenities were good.

Pros: Location, breakfasts, restaurant.
Cons: Heat of water in pool and hot tub.
Location: Near Ft. Ticonderoga, Lake Champlain, Ferry, VT border, Star Trek set tour, Walmart super center, Dunks, hospital.
Gave a 3 on facilities because our normal voices echoed so loudly in room we had to speak very quietly to avoid overwhelming ourselves or potential neighbors. Indoor pool was very cold - kid only lasted five minutes or so. Normally he's there for hours. Otherwise would have been a four. Restaurant was great and able to accommodate gluten free dietary restrictions. Breakfasts were also satisfying and included scrambled eggs and another hot meat product daily, make your own waffles, and many other choices.
