Nice people, clean room we enjoyed our stay. Tiegen was very nice, even helped with breakfast!

OK for single night stay

Pros: Cost
Cons: Breakfast and ice machine on second floor or second ice machine on opposite end of first floor.
Location: Not sure-there for work.
An OK place to spend a night-nothing fancy and breakfast was simply a continental breakfast which I was not pleased with.

NEVER MADE UP THE ROOM - STAFF NOT KNOWLEDGABLE

Pros: Bed was comfortable.
Cons: Manager on call and better customer service training. "I don't know" and no attempt to find out are unacceptable.
Our room was not made up. We called the desk and were told - oh, sorry. That's it. We asked for clean towels which were delivered. We called the desk to find out how to retrieve voicemail from phone - we were told "I have no idea". That's it. We left our phone number and requested the manager call us (the manager was off all weekend) - we never received a call. We have stayed at other Super 8s. We will never stay here again.

Nice hotel in Ticonderoga, NY

Pros: location and bed was very comfortable
Cons: breakfast
Location: Fort Ticonderoga, Lakes, fishing, hiking, apple picking
Very nice no frills hotel. Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a little below average I think for these types of hotels, but adequate.

Double beds are way too small for 2 people!!

We reserved a room with 2 double beds since there were 4 of us coming. Thankfully we brought along a twin air mattress so my kids didn't actually have to share the bed cause that never works. But when we got there we realized the double beds were so small not even my husband and I could share them. I ended up sleeping on the air mattress and my daughter sleep on top of pillows on the floor. Would never reserve that room again, next time we'd do the king bed and bring 2 air mattresses instead. Other than that it was fine, rooms are real small, there's no carpet in the rooms. The AC didn't work terribly well. But breakfast was good and the staff were very nice.

Way better than expected.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in many similarly rated hotels and this was by far the cleanest, and best run. I was pelasently surprised for the price. Location was convienent also.

Good in-town lodging location.

First night wasn't good, quiet, comfortable bed. Second night very noisy occupant upstairs on 2nd floor that banged & thrashed until 2am. Hardwood floors and stock built design did not muffle sound. Occasional chair a little very rickety.

Cons: Hire someone to have the breakfast up to what you advertise
We were there to see Fort Ticonderoga which was a couple blocks away. We also took the ferry over to Vermont just to have a maple smoothie. Restaurants close by all and all a good location. Breakfast was not as good. At 8 in the morning there wasn't any waffle mix had to ask for bread to make toast. No yogurt no milk for cereal. I guess what I'm getting at is no one was attending the breakfast room.

The room we had throughly cleaned for my child with allergies was locked when we got there. It was inconvenient to wait for another room at midnight with two ties children, but it worked out. The place was clean and breakfast was helpful. Loved that it was next to Walmart.
