It was a nice place but they are renovating and a lot is old. The beds were too soft, couldn’t sleep well. You could hear the neighboring room TV going until 2am. Not a quiet place.

Hotel was being remodeled and work was going along quite well. It is a big improvement. The staff was very easy to talk to and they were very helpful.

The property was under construction. My room, however, was nice and clean. The toilet was wobbly. It needed to be secured down better. New paint would have made a difference. I think the property is being updated by a new owner. It would have been nice to have breakfast updated to new items like other hotels. The check in associates were very nice. Check in was quick and easy. I gave them cookies..

They are remodeling the motel and it is a mess, when I got here they did not have my reservation thru Travelocity and I had to take the only room they had available which was a single bed which caused issues too?? They said it Travelocity fault??

This room was horrible, had bad order coming from ac unit. The bathroom was disgusting the only thing clean was the towels they change out. Bathroom floor was disgusting over all bad experience for my family.

Arrived to find out that the reason so much of the motel was unavailable was not because it was booked, but because it was out of commission. We were told that there had been flooding, and that most of the facility was under repairs. There were only about a dozen rooms available on each of the two floors. The pool was closed. Ceiling tiles were missing, and wires hung loose. Smoke detectors were missing. Parking lot was full of trash. There are very limited motel accommodations in Fitzgerald. Otherwise, we would have gone somewhere else. Having said that, the staff was friendly and apologetic about the conditions. It was obvious that they were doing the best they could with what they had to work with, but the motel should really just be shut down until repairs are completed. Scenarios like this are a big problem with booking hotels through Expedia or other third-party sites. If I had called the hotel directly to book the rooms, I could have found out about the current conditions and tried to make other arrangements.

I’ve stayed at this hotel about 8 times over the course of the past year when doing business in the town of Fitzgerald. CONS: The hotel is what you’d expect for a hotel in a small town with few options; They seem to cater to a lot of road crews and construction workers during the week. A lot of loud TVs, door slammers and the occasional screaming kid running down the hall and yapping dog. This is not the hotel’s fault, but it has been fairly consistent for each of my stays. For the most part, things quiet down by 10pm. The major dislike I have is that the hotel DOES NOT have an elevator. Generally, this would not be an issue with me, but when I travel, I have to bring a lot of heavy, expensive gear that I cannot leave in my vehicle overnight. Even though the hotel was not very busy, I was informed that there were no rooms available on the first floor because they hadn’t been cleaned yet due to short staffing issues. Which meant I had to make 5 trips lugging heavy gear up the stairs and then do the same thing in reverse the next morning. PROS: The staff is consistently friendly, and will generally accommodate any request when they can. The hotel is located directly in the middle of a commercial district so there is plenty of food, fuel, car wash and a WalMart very near the property. The area feels safe and is conveniently located. In closing, it isn’t the Ritz, but for a small town and an inexpensive overnight option, it’s more than adequate and I will continue to stay here.

I did not like anything about this property. Noone was at the front desk when I tried to check in. Waited for about and hour before I went upstairs to look for an employee to check me in. Elevator was broke, had to leave my suitcases in the car. Orherwise lug them upstairs. The parking lot was obviously a place to park & party. Trash was all over the parking lot. Drug Paraphernalia was left on the stairwell to 2nd floor. Dead and alive ants, dog hair on end tables. Human hair on bed. Just walking through the hallways at 4:00 in the afternoon sounded like people was there to party. Definitely not a place to rest my head like I intended. Tried to call Expedia for over 2 hours had no luck getting alive agent. Thank God for the friends I traveled to visit offered me a place to stay.
