Rooms undergoing renovation which will probably resolve dim lighting issues in closet and bathroom. Nicely decorated lobby and rooms- breakfast plentiful but not extravagant.

The hotel was great. The room was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I do wish the breakfast would have been a little better it wasn't terrible just not great.

Pros: Front desk staff, convenience to my class.
Cons: Cleaning staff and breakfast staff attitudes toward guests. Quality control - decaf was replenished with regular coffee, thermostat was tampered with
This was my second stay at this location. I encountered three different front desk clerks throughout the duration of my stay each was exceptionally personable and connected, which I greatly appreciated. I was disappointed with the breakfast room staff, one lady in particular seemed angry and aggressive each day. I didn't catch her name, but she was much taller than all the rest of the workers in the breakfast room. I also encountered a lady from the cleaning staff in the hallway, smiled at her as we passed and she stared into my eyes unsmiling with a look that I can only describe as seething hatred aimed in my direction. The encounters with these two women definitely affected my decision on whether to tip. In addition, I left my room at the temperature I wanted it to be upon my return - 70. Instead, the cleaning crew turned the AC on 60 and it was freezing for an hour upon my return. Lastly, I tripped and almost fell the first night on the mat at the back door, it was folded and rolled rather than flat on the floor. As my stay went on I fixed the mat daily, and I realized the staff, was rolling the mat up and propping it in the door to let friends and family come in without a key - this back door is just around the corner from staff quarters, I personally witnessed this occur and removed the mat from the door. This is a security issue on many levels. These encounters would not prevent me from staying here again, because there were other positives, but beware.
