You get what you pay for

The bedspread was filthy, the floor was dirty. I'm not sure the pillowcases had been changed. The mattress was rock hard. The only toiletry provided was soap. Two burner stove provided but nothing to cook with or eat off of. Cupboards completely bare.I guess you provide all that yourself. Continental breakfast is a small muffin and coffee or tea to go. Would have been nice to know about kitchen amenities up front. Housekeeping, laundry and garbage all need to step up.

Good location

Pros: location, location, location.
Cons: clearly marked smoking area away from outdoor stairwells and second-story outdoor walkway.
Location: easy access to highway and downtown Portland
Good location, easy access to highway. Evening staff was helpful in providing additional bedding requested. Not so good was the smoking just outside the door by next-door neighbors and cigarette butts on the outdoor stairwell.

Too dark

There is no light corridor on the upper floor. I had to walk in the dark to get to my room on upper floor of building 3. There is a poor quality of how they manage the room's smoke detector. It beeps at 7am every 15 seconds and I couln't continue my sleep. Overall experience is at negative. I'm not recommend any of my friend staying due to quality and security concerns.

This hotel is close to the freeways and about 20mins from downtown Portland. The staff were pleasant and helpful. But I was disappointed when the room was run down a bit and I discovered that the trash left from previous guests were still in the room. Made me think if the staff actually cleaned the room before we checked in.

Indifferent staff. Filthy garbage area.

Too high priced and run down facility. Indifferent staff.0verpriced. Phones advertising about "breakfast" choice of granola bar or stale banana muffin wrapped in plastic probably dates to 1995.

Horrible Experience at Extended Stay America!

I want my $ back! The facility is under staffed, there were kocroaches in my room and the staff neither changed the towels nor bedding. I had to go to the office to ask for fresh towels. I'll never book Extended Stay America again!

Dirty and under staffed

Pros: Nothing, really. But it was close to the freeway...
Cons: Need adequate staff to service customers & rooms. Need better housekeeping & laundry. Replace the awfully gross counter-tops & tub surrounds.
Location: I'm not sure. This was just a stop along the way to somewhere else.
Our 1st room was right next to overflowing garbage cans (garbage on the ground, flies everywhere, smelly). We immediately called front desk to ask for a new room. The 2nd room was also next to garbage cans, but they were better kept and weren't overflowing with garbage. So we stayed with the 2nd room. However, the room was gross; there were dirty bedsheets & pillows and a stain on the headboard. The office was also understaffed; there was only 1 lady working and she was obviously getting overwhelmed. We felt sorry for her, but management needs to have more staff! It took over an hour to get clean cases for our pillows. Some of the replacement bed sheets we received were actually dirtier than the ones they were replacing. One looked like it was used for painting or something. Furthermore, we had to change the sheets ourselves. The material used for the sink, countertop, & shower walls was light brown w/brown splotchy patterns all over it (looked like poop exploded); I couldn't tell what was on the surfaces even after I wiped them (gross!). It's as if they chose the surface design for maximum filth coverage (again, gross!). We wiped down the countertop & didn't use the shower. The breakfast was sad. Coffee and prepackaged oatmeal cups. We skipped that and went out for breakfast. Overall, a totally disappointing experience. We will never stay here again! Considering everything, I think they designed and run this place with minimal effort in mind. Horrible!

Easy access to I5.

Halls & stairs need cleaning. Dirty with cigarette butts lying around. Quiet area. Room has kitchenette.

Terrible hotel in a very convenient location

Pros: Good price
Cons: Make sure everything works before having guests, if you provide kitchen have at least a couple of glasses or plates.
There in only one person in whole hotel (more than 300 rooms) to check-in/out people, clean rooms and attend issues, so several guests and we waited more than 15 minutes to be able to check-in or check-out. Room (with kitchen) didn't have a single dish or glass. Toilet was leaking dirty water.

Terrible

First off they checked me into a room that was already occupied, then the room I got had no drinking glasses ,no coffee maker, no soap.the hotel grounds were filthy large piles of garbage ect.
