While the surroundings and activities offered are great, Wylder leaves much to be desired. The front desk staff is nothing short of rude, not a good first impression. Rooms are very basic and not well maintained or cleaned well. Looks as if they went the cheapest route possible in renovating the rooms and already feels dingy and worn. Some rooms have working TVs, art on the walls, and full length mirrors but other rooms of the same type do not. Skip the expensive continental breakfast and take a bike down the street to the corner store with kinder staff and better food. No food or drink options at Wylder during the day so grab the bike again and head someplace else. What's good about the Wylder is the staff and food at Ticklers and the pool, toys, hangout areas, and view. In checking out, the staff again was incredibly rude so unfortunately I won't be back until they get some training in hospitality.
