Wonderful upgrade for a three night stay!

Pros: Liked everything......breakfasts were great too!
Cons: Would've been nice to have an indoor pool.....that was the only thing missing, really....
Location: Downtown Timmins was just fine
Suite was very spacious & clean, all staff was friendly & courteous & Nathalie so graciously upgraded us to a suite, which was very much appreciated!

Pet Friendly? Not Quite --- Disappointing Overall

My wife and I have stayed here several times but after this time, we will never again. The room was dirty (sand on the floors & stains on the linen) and the counter in the bathroom had, what we believed to be drops of blood on it indicating to us that it had not been cleaned. Early in the morning before we woke, the housekeeping staff were outside our door laughing and loudly talking about gossip. It made for a disappointing wake up. Upon visiting the reception desk to check out that morning, we found the desk clerk was in plain view with her nose in her phone and she seemed as if we disturbed her in what was on the phone order to check out. The hotel is listed at "Pet Friendly", but I wouldn't say that. "Pets Accepted", yes but not "Friendly". Not a fault of the hotel or it's staff but there is literally nowhere within short walking distance to bring a dog to do their business. We ended up having to drive to a different area of Timmins for that.

Hotel was recently renovated downstairs since I last stayed there. The restaurant/bar is a nice addition. However hotel was unable to provide toothpaste during my stay...the one time I forgot it. Will just remember to bring my own next time.

The heating system was not working l felt horrible for the cold all night. The hotel did nothing to help me. Thanks
