A beautiful, remote place to unwind and relax. The beach is perfect, white sand and turquoise sea, a bit rocky to enter, but there are rock-free spots too (water shoes are recommended). Great for snorkelling (sharks included, but don't expect to see many, I saw a baby one and one other person saw the adult one). The resort organises snorkelling trips to other places which are worth exploring.
There were some hiccups with communication with some of the staff (English is not their first language) but overall they are all very friendly and helpful. Purified water is available free of charge and the place is kept clean and tidy at all times.
The nearest village is about an hours' walk away through the jungle (with another hour away to a waterfall), both worth visiting. If you're looking for night life and exceptional culinary experience, you won't find it here. But if you like reading, walking, swimming, snorkelling, beach tennis, volleyball and beautiful scenery - this place is perfect.
