Nice location and comfortable clean rooms
The area is very good! Close to marina do Pisa and beach, lots of restaurants! Nice welcoming at reception! Escorted us to our place and showed us around! Fluent in English. Room clean and comfortable! WiFi was pretty fast. Restaurant was accommodating and food good.

difficult without car
We were attracted to stay here due to its proximity to the beach in Marina di Pisa. the complex is about 25 minute drive from Pisa town. These self catering Apartments are in reasonable shape with AC, gas hob and adequate kitchen utensils. I would rate the facilities as 3 star. The complex has a good swimming pool, bar and a much used water slide. The water slide works for 2 hours in morning and 2 hrs in afternoon. There s a life guard who ensures that everyone had donned swimming cap but indifferent to the safety of the water slide users many of whom are little children. Across the road is a pebbly but free beach .There are numerous other paid sandy beaches but to my knowledge, all are essentially small puddles separated from open sea by a wall of rocks and .not much fun. On the Marina and in the complex itself there are a lot of shows and loud music in night late till midnight. However the good old double glazing ensures adequate sound proofing. The in house restaurant is reasonably good. The nearest supermarket is 1 mile away. Therefore car is essential unless you wish to take the bus which stops just in front of the complex. Brenda and Massimo at the reception were very pleasant and helpful on the few occasions when we needed help. communication in English is an issue but this was easily overcome. The complex and Marina Di Pisa appears to cater mainly for Italian tourist. Thanks to the hire car we also managed to visit Pisa , Florence and Venice in these 7 days.

I had over 5 hotels in Italy and this was one of the best. had a swimming pool and the ocean next door. we got there early and they let us keep our bags in the area near them while we explored the place and went to eat. loved it

Great property for someone staying long term for the beach. Pool seemed nice. Not the greatest condition but staff was great. Rooms are single story condo type.

I reached late after check in time but the staff managed to make my check in smooth. The staff was co operative, location is Great with parking.... By car easy to reach City... Only issue is WiFi in apartment. No Wifi in apartment.

The apartment is beautiful. The only downside, we booked for 3 people so we supposed to have a quuen bed and a single bed. Instead the single bed, we got a small couch, that would be ok but one of the leg was loosing and my mother (75yo) ended up on the floor in the middle of the night as the leg broke down. Fortunatelly, my husban heard her, and he was able to give assistence. She limbed for the next few days. She complained at the front desk but they discarded her as not a big deal. We took pictures of the broken couch and everything else.

Very Nice Property... Very Bad Reception Timings
!!!!! Reception is open on Mon-Fri from 9am to 1pm!!!!! If you are arriving late... then please call the hotel in advance. The property is very nice.. clean... and location is very beautiful. The apartment is maintained very neatly and the amenities are very convenient if you want to cook while u stay. I reached the venue on a friday evening at 7pm and I was shocked that the reception was closed. The number on the booking was from the reception but as I said.. no one can answer the phone since its CLOSED!!! I asked some people in the apartment and they said they don't have any mobile phone numbers. A few of them were living there since months and they also did not have any mobile phone numbers. Too bad!!!! I ran to the hotel in the front and saw some people redecorating their restaurant. After a while, I met the owner of the restaurant who had the mobile number of the Director of the Boboba... He called him and explained my case and he sent a girl 30 mins later with the keys. Imagine my situation had I not met this restauranteur!!! My terrible rating for the service is only for this reception timings. If ur outside the hours.. then u can't even get a light back if its broken!!! Inspite of such an experience, I would still recommend to stay here. To the Management: PLEASE get in touch with the people who have made a booking and ask them when they would arrive. You can do this much and it will cost u nothing.

No Wifi. No pool. Shingles most of the coastline.
Check-in was closed at 1pm. We had to stay at another hotel for the first night as they said they would not organise a key outside for us. Expedia, very kindly, paid for the extra hotel stay but it was a pain to have to hunt for hotel late at night. No Wifi. It was not working and no attempt was made to make it work. The website says they have Wifi. There was no wifi. No pool. The website says, two pools and a waterslide. There was one pool with a waterslide but it was not open. Our stay was 25th May to 1st June. The pool was supposed to open the 1st of June but when we asked they said it was open for sunbathing only, as they had put some chlorine and it would be open for swimming on 2nd of june. No beach front. Beach is close by but is shingles, nice white shingles mind you. Sand beaches are private and you have to pay to access them. The public sand beach (1/2 mile away) had a lot of rubbish and dogs, but ok otherwise. There was a nice bit of garden in front of our apartment, grass and pine trees and hedges, very nice, birds, butterflies, etc. Unfortunately we saw a group of people with eight Huskies (8!) on a leash, walk across the grass and let their dog relieve themselves on the grass, including poos. The smell was awful. I don't know if the staff was aware of this but by then we knew there was no point talking to them so we didn't ask. But I was seriously unhappy about the "garden" after that. They picked up the poo but still.

I arrived at 6:30PM for three days to a note stating that the checkin was 0800-1300 and that I should go to another hotel for the night and checkin the next morning. Driving for over 10 hours and arriving to this note was upsetting. I returned the next day and talked to the staff and I only was given lip service stating they were not the owners. The room was average but the pool and dining facility was closed (no mention on Expedia). However we were able go to the beach and a place to eat across the street. The next morning we experienced no hot water and luckily the hotel staff was there to fix the problem. We did not stay but one night vice three since all the negative aspects of the stay. I do not recommend staying here, since it is really only a 1 star type hotel (the basics) not a 3 star.

Lovely little hotel, town a bit sleepy...
This hotel 'will' be lovely once the season starts, they were getting ready to open for 2nd June, so swimming pool, bar and restaurants were not open, but did look good. Hotel does not look much from the outside but the condo's are up to date, modern and very comfortable. The kitchen facilities are great, we cooked a couple of meals as we have a couple of kiddies. Only thing missing was a kettle, but no worries we just boiled a saucepan of water no hardship really. Free parking was a bonus, we needed the car as there is not really anything to do around where the hotel is situated, or if there is it was all asleep still. We did however find a really lovely beach restaurant le Adventure really friendly staff, great food and they could not do enough for us. Overall great place as a base but all the sights are at least 25 mins by car away i.e. Leaning Tower, but again no big deal if you have a car. No fantastic restaurants nearby to walk to, the bar across the road from the hotel was unfriendly but I would definitely use this hotel again!

Very nice - quite in June
Our stay was great. In early June the Italian summer holidays had not started - we were one of only 2 or 3 people staying there. Unfortunately the pool was not open, but the owners arranged us a free ticket to one of the beach bars across the road, and the kids probably had as much fun chasing fish and digging in the sand than the pool slide. The staff were also very helpful showing where free parking to visit the leaning tower was.

MISLEADING DETAILS
Firstly we didn't use the kitchen or the safe at the Pisa apartment, Boboba Il Villaggio, as there were extra charges. I decided that even if we paid to use the kitchen in our apartment, it wouldn't matter how clean I left it, they would probably say it wasn't clean enough and charge us the extra 80 euro I think it was to have it cleaned. Also, in the paper work in the room they said the sheets and towels would be changed on every Friday. That didn't happen. The hairdryer wasn't powerful at all, in fact it didn't even blow a piece of paper off the shelf. The hairdryer was attached to the wall with double sided tape and would often come crashing down into the sick. Twice that happened in the middle of the night, scared the life out of us........we did let the people know, twice they stuck it back up with double sided tape and then the third time they attached it to the tiles with screws, which was great but whoever did the job, didn't move our toothbrushes or comb and brushes or soap out of the way, so everything was covered in tile dust. They didn't clean up after themselves and we had dust everywhere on our personal toiletries and in the basin. The Pisa Apartment itself was ok, but a little bit isolated, if you didn't have a car. I wouldn't want to go back there again. I guess I was negative at the start when we were told we had to pay extra for the use of the safe and the kitchen, which was behind locked cupboards. So I'm afraid I didn't enjoy it that much.

Great family hotel on the beach
It is a very nice hotel, beautiful pool, access to a private beach, nice rooms, friendly staff. This reminds me of a time share arrangement that has rented out some rooms. Watch out though because everything is extra including cleaning your room, access to the fridge or kitchen, use of the pool (they make you buy expensive bathing caps for your head), utilities, and city tax.

Overpriced and undermaintained
After a great experience in Pistoia, we spent the last night in this hotel because it was close to the airport. At these prices (50% more than what we paid for a very spacious room in Pistoia), we expected at least some space but it was crammed space in which we had to pile up the furniture in one corner to fit all 5 of us. There was a small kitchen in one corner of the room that would be available..... if you paid 20% extra. I'm sorry to say but this to us looked like a case of a hotel that has had it too good for too long, and has grown accustomed to taking customers for granted, at high prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful, that must be said!

Boboa Il Villggio as very well situated and very convenient to explore Tuscany. Bus stop right outside hotel and goes to Pisa Central Train Station. This is the biggest plus point about Boboa. It's a nice place, very basic. There is alot they do not tell you. The bus tickets are available at reception 1.80 euro. If you buy on the bus they are 2.50 euros.The washing machine is 4 euros and they provide washing liquid. They should make the kitchen in the apartments part of the price; rather than as add on when you get there. They charge and extra 30 euros for use of kitchen, regardless of length of stay - 1 night or 2 weeks - same price. Luckily we were there for 2 weeks! The walls are painfully thin and you can hear everything...(man snoring next door!!). We went May 2010 and not everything was open, pool was still being refurbed and building work taking place, which was very disapointing. Restaurants & bars surround Boboba. Found amazing bar called 'Sunset Cafe' out of Boboba, turn left and walk 10 mins. Directly opposite Camping Internation. There is also a supermarket in Camping International, that you can use. Main supermarket is about 20 mins walk to the Co-Op. Very cheap drink here and well worth buying any alcohol to take home, Pisa Airport was expensive. Overall I would recomend Boboba; as long as you know exactly what you are getting. Good basic accomadation, that you pay extra for everything, excellent location, nice staff; just not very informative.

BRILLIANT BUDGET HOTEL
Dear readers, would like to say that this was a great place to stay although a car hire is essential. The hotel was nice, just 2 bad points, the water in the bathroom taps tasted salty but as it was 30 degrees, and if thirsty you will drink anything. The only other bad point was the pool opening times 10-6, we were out most of day and wanted to swim early morning or late night. Would visit their again, reasonable priced restaurants a few kilos away..

Stayed for 4 nights in one of the little appartments, with my partner and two teenage children. Small, but perfectly adequate. Service was good, restaurant one of the cheapest on the boulevard. Excellent swimming pool and right on the beach. Florence within an hours drive, and Pisa just on the doorstep.

Great hotel for the money
The hotel did exceed our expectations, but travellers should be aware that it is a typical Italian hotel. Amenities are sparse and rooms basic...perfect for a few nights. That said, the room was comfortable and for the most part clean. The restaurant at the hotel is extremely good and very reasonably priced. The little bar by the pool offers excellent cafe latte and croissants in the morning. The pool is good but beware you need to wear a bathing cap and they don't tell you until check out that they are 3 Euro each!!! Across the street is a gorgeous jetti and pebble beach and a few restaurants. A mile or so south you can find public access beaches that are sandy with chairs for a fee for the beachgoer. Great location only 15 minutes from airport and downtown Pisa. Highly recommend!!!

the hotel itself was pretty nice considering it was europe. it was a good deal for the price. two things though: 1) the hotel manager/guy at the front desk all the days we were there was about as talkative as a lump of cheese. VERY UNHELPFUL! 2) there wasn't any air conditioning and it was really HOT already in may. also, the beach across from them is NOT free like they said, it's 28 euro's a day to use!!! it's only free after a certain month they said. so that was annoying. other than that, it was like i said a nice place to stay.

A Good Value for Travelers on a Budget
My wife and I stayed in at the Boboba il Villaggio in Marina di Pisa for a nice early summer getaway and found it to be a tremendous value. Though probably considerably busier in the high season, we found the town to be quiet and relaxing in mid-May when we stayed there. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely balcony. We kept expenses down by self-catering - there is a supermarket a few minutes down the road - though there is indeed a 25 Euro surcharge for use of the kitchenette. The pool had just opened when we were there, but the cool looking water slide was still closed. Too bad. In any case, Marina is a choice destination as it is far enough away from the big cities to allow for a relaxed beach vacation, but close enough to allow easy access to Pisa, Lucca, and Florence, if you so desire. A few logistical tips for others thinking about this hotel: to reach Boboba, take the bus into town from the airport and get off at the bus station (it's not well marked, but it's just a block or so past the central train station). You want route 10 (you queue up at Corsa 2) toward either Tirrenia or Livorno. It comes every 30 minutes or so. One-way tickets are 1.80, though you will notice that most locals tend not to pay. The trip takes about 30 minutes and you can get off right in front of the hotel (look for the water slide and the flags).

Io, mio marito e mio figlio di 6 anni abbiamo soggiornato la prima settimana di agosto e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il personale è gentile e molto disponibile, il villaggio è davvero confortevole e molto tranquillo. L’appartamento non è molto grande, ma è davvero comodo e dotato di tutto il necessario con un bagno (doccia molto grande e comoda), una camera da letto e un soggiorno/cucina con un divano letto. Sia la camera da letto che la cucina sono dotati di aria condizionata. Wi-fi gratuito in tutto il villaggio. La presenza di un parco verde e ombreggiato proprio davanti all’appartamento ha reso ancora più piacevole il nostro soggiorno. Disponibile, davanti all’appartamento anche un tavolo con sedie sotto una veranda dove poter rilassarsi e pranzare all’aria aperta. Un altro aspetto positivo è sicuramente la presenza della piscina dove grandi e piccini possono divertirsi durante tutto il giorno, non affollata e quindi adatta anche a chi vuole semplicemente rilassarsi a prendere il sole. Nel villaggio è presente anche un ristorante/pizzeria che, a mio avviso, è l'unica cosa da migliorare un po’, le pizze sono però molto buone. Di fronte (basta semplicemente attraversare la strada) c’è il bagno Papaya che, da quest’anno non è più convenzionato col villaggio, ma è molto comodo ed ha una spiaggia di sabbia e acqua bassa ( recintata dagli scogli) adatta alle famiglie e soprattutto ai bambini. Io sconsiglio vivamente il ristorante all’interno dello stabilimento balneare.

Nogle gode dage
Hyggeligt sted med dejlig pool. Vandrutchebanen virkede ikke, hvilket livredderen fortalte og man kunne tydeligt se at den havde stået ubrugt hen i lang tid. Dejlige omgivelser og en god atmosfære. Stedet ligger lige ud til Middelhavet. Desværre kunne kun tre inklusiv livredderen tale engelsk, hvilket ødelagde lidt af oplevelsen. Jeg forventer at man kan kommunikere på engelsk på et hotel som henvender sig til andre end lokalbefolkning.

Der Urlaub war so relaxed und schön, das Wir nächstes Jahr sicher nochmal kommen, es war wie ein Urlaub bei der Familie, alle waren herzlich und freundlich, es wurde immer gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob alles passt. Struttura che fornisce servizi primari alla clientela come il bar/ristorante, il parcheggio e la piscina (andrebbe sistemato lo scivolo o addirittura tolto per migliorare l'area anche come immagine). Appartement agréable, dans un petit coin de verdure. La résidence propose beaucoup de service,notamment bar et restaurant. Le bar propose des petits déjeuner copieux la semaine avec un peu de charcuterie et des viennoiserie, vous pourrez également déguster des yaourt glacé et boire un jus d'orange sanguine ou d'ananas le tout accompagné d'un café ou cappuccino pour la modique somme de 3.50€ par personne. Le bar propose également des glace, et boisson tout au long de la journée, nous avons pu profiter d'un apéritifs avec des snacks. La piscine est agréable nous regrettons juste ne pas avoir pu profiter du toboggan. L'emplacement est idéale avec un arrêt de bus juste devant et beaucoup de restaurant à proximité. Le seul bémol il manque une épicerie à proximité le magasin coop le plus proche est a près de 1km L'accessibilité depuis Pise est simple 1 bus fait des allée retour régulier. Le personnel parle italien, anglais et un peu français (notamment la barmen ), ils sont tous très sympathique, agréable et discret. Nous avons fortement apprécié notre séjour .

Fint opphold
Godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Parkering utenfor hotellet med port som stenger 23.30. Fine leiligheter med air condition. Rent og pent. Testet ikke bar og restaurant, men virket ok dette også. Ikke noe negativt å si om overnattingsstedet!
