Hotel rooms are very much in need of some serious.

Posted Aug 26, 2016
Rooms are in very poor condition. Blown bulbs, broken and dirty tiles. The shower never worked properly, had to have maintenance come in twice to turn off the cold water in the shower. The faucet was in dire need of repair. Linen and drapes have been around for the last 14 years and showed the age and dirt. Requested a late check for two of the four rooms and was given a late check out at 1500. At 1300 we were being told that we must vacate the rooms. This was followed by continuous calls growing more aggressively with each ring. The long and short of it is that were we thrown out. The front desk staff were clearly clueless and incompetent.

Apesar de tudo, a melhor opção em Tobago

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Pros: A praia particular
Cons: A internet!!!!!!!

My wife and I along with her parents and sister spent three nights here and it was good for the most part the hotel itself is dated and there was no activities at the resort ... We had breakfast which was good the beach at the resort was also good but that was it the island had lots of activities which we enjoyed the location of the hotel was great right in the middle of everything... They did not provide toothpaste in the rooms... Everything else was basically there towels and soap

Thank you for your feedback. We offer complimentary use of kayaks, snorkeling gear and other non-motorized water sports for our guests. WE have two tennis courts located on the property and equipment is available at our main reception. We offer shopping, a hair salon, spa and fitness center on property. Our social director's office has various board games, and hosts a book-swap library. That team can also assist you with planning tours and island information. We hope you will have the opportunity to utilize more of our services on your next visit.

Very serene environment

Posted Aug 12, 2016
Pros: The ambience. Breakfast was also amazing.
Cons: Minor structural upgrades.
Location: Although the stay was short, they were able to walk to venues close by and enjoyed the beach immensely.
My clients totally enjoyed their stay and intend to return. The staff was pleasant and helpful and they were able to enjoy the excellent customer service. Access to all the hotel facilities while they stayed and enjoyed the beach was also a plus. They will definitely be going back to Coco Reef.

A good place for a few days

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Amazing location and man made lagoon. Room was fine and breakfast was lovely. Unfortunately the price of lunch and dinner was too expensive so we ate out. The drinks server on the beach was extremely polite and attentive. Some of the female members of staff were abrupt and would finish off their conversations before attending to you which grated on us. On the hole, an ok stay.

Nice hotel, a bit expensive

Posted Aug 5, 2016
Nice hotel,Beautiful gardens, decent pool. nice front desk personnel however I think it's expensive based on what they offer. My room had a very old air conditioning that smelled terrible, also old furniture and TV that needed some maintenance.

Great location but the rooms are a bit tired.

Posted Aug 3, 2016
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Need to update the rooms.
Location: Store Bay / Miss Jeans; Pigeon Point; Glass bottomed boat trip - all more than worth a trip
Overall good but spoiled by the bathroom flooding, the a/c not working one afternoon and the toilet blocking. I did report the problems but the person I spoke to shrugged her shoulders and said “These things happen” !. I then reported that response to the duty manager but he listened half heartedly and then carried on a conversation with a colleague !!. Very poor service bearing in mind the cost of the stay… Save as mentioned above, the remainder of the staff were very helpful / obliging. I would also avoid the formal restaurant - the quality of the food was so-so for the price (200 TT pp). The "bar meals" were much better value for money. The towels (although clean) were old and a little smelly.

Nice location & great beach

Posted Jul 26, 2016
Friends told me it was tired & dated Well it's fine, good breakfast, great beach, clean room, friendly staff only issue for me was poor internet, only available in the lobby, poor quality & intermittent, plus expensive at around $26 per day. Otherwise a relaxing place, a must is to eat at the Seahorses restaurant at Black Rock and a day on the Picante catamaran

Thank you for your feedback and for visiting us despite what others had told you. Our Wifi charge is US$10.00 per day or US$25.00 per week. An alternative is free internet access on one of two workstations in our lounge room. Good that you took in island activities and enjoyed them.
