Oasis in Tokyo

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
I moved to this hotel when my reserved hotels was way below par. It was a great move. A spacious lobby and more importantly, a spacious room with many first rate amenities. The staff was extremely helpful, especially the concierge, who helped me navigate the often challenging directions. In the heart of Ginza, it was ultra convenient to the shopping, the Kabuki and fine dining. It was comfortable, classy, and I'll certainly stay thee again.

Convenient location and size for a good price

Posted Jan 5, 2017 on Hotels
Perfect location - right in the center of the shopping district, beautiful lights at night, numerous bars and delicious restaurants and access to 3 or 4 of the main subway lines to easily transport you to other areas in Tokyo. The room is relatively spacious compared to many other 4 star hotels in Tokyo and the breakfast is awesome. However, the hotel could use some renovation, other than it's premium rooms on the highest floor, the bathrooms don't have a fan so it gets really foggy and the smells of the pipes comes out sometimes. Otherwise, the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Decent value for Tokyo

Posted Dec 5, 2016 on Hotels
Stayed for three days on business. No complaints overall. Room was small, which is typical for Tokyo, but comfortable. Ginza area is very good for restaurants, shopping and access to trains. Also have the beautiful Hamarikyu gardens just a short walk away - well worth spending an hour or so. Shimbashi train station is very close and provides plenty of access to entire system. The breakfast buffet is also quite good, and they have a reasonably-priced airport shuttle.

Pricey but convenient

Posted Aug 17, 2016
Good location near high end shopping, two metro stations, kabuki theater, quick market and pachinko parlour. Not very many rooms with two beds and only had 2 premium rooms with two beds. Breakfast buffet is very good and so is dinner buffet. Small, ill equipped fitness room. No ventilation in bathroom. Provides shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath gel, comb, moisturizer, razor and toothbrush in room as well as refrigerator, safe, iron and board, slippers, robe and even shoe horn. Friendly English speaking staff. Will exchange currency to yen. Hotel room key only allows access to your floor. Overall enjoyable experience.
