Worth the price

The staff are remarkably awkward, I mean, even considering the language barrier. I can speak a little bit of Japanese, but every word that came out of my mouth was as if I was from an alien planet to these people. It was so strange, especially since Tokyo is the most English-ish place I've been in Japan (I'm a university student in Osaka). Getting past the uncomfortable feel that the staff give you, the place is okay. The beds are really comfortable (though the top bunk is a huge physical task to get up into), and the facilities you need are there. The showers are... not the most appetizing, as a warning; the floors are pretty spongey, which is gross if you think about it too much. But you're there to sleep, not to have luxurious showers.
All in all, if I need to spend a night in Tokyo for cheap, I'll probably be going here again.
