the only downside of this property in my opinion is no on site laundry, the rooms are only cleans once every 4th day. but the staff was friendly, the location is amazing.

The mattress was sagging and got a big indent. Back got hurt after sleeping for one night. Requested to change room next day and was told hotel was full. I raised it as a health and safety issue as I booked the hotel for three nights. Finally got room change. Don't go there!

Some of the lights didn't work and the room was a little too dark after the sun set. The aircon had dust in them. Everything else was good.

Fantastic hotel! It is located near IKEBUKURO, the chic shopping area and easy to go to everywhere wuth subway lines. The place is really quiet and not noisy at all. The room is clean and neat and its size is pretty okay for solo traveller. It also provides the bathtube for relaxing. Moreover, the staff are kind and help me alot. They always tried to communicate with me, even I don't understand Japanese at all. Love this hotel.

My stay at Hotel Resol Ikebukuro was excellent! The room was actually spacious. Loved the bathroom amenities that we could pick up from the lobby. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Our flight was at night, but the hotel allowed us to store our luggage even after checkout. Very convenient area - close to a Lawson/7-11, and 10 minute walk to the train station. I would stay at this hotel again!

Highly recommended
Very good for the price. First-time travellers to Japan might be surprised at how small the room is, but this is normal. Decent breakfast was included -- the usual mix of Japanese and Western style. Location is a 5-10 minute walk to Ikebukuro station, one of the main train stations in Tokyo. Great for business trips, couples and small families. Staff were friendly and efficient. I speak a bit of Japanese, so I'm not sure how good their English is, but probably good enough for simple directions etc. Highly recommended.
