This was my second stay at this hotel and I'd gladly go again. The area is very quiet at night so is a nice place to get a good rest away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city.
The interior of this small boutique-style hotel is very beautiful and the entrance to the hotel has many marble features. The room design was attractive. My bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The bathtub was large, had very good water pressure, and a nice shower head for a relaxing bath. The room was quiet and I heard neither outside noise nor inside hallway or adjoining room noise. The surrounding area is an excellent place day or night to just go out and walk as the surrounding architecture is stunning and the night lights are gorgeous. It is a very quiet area without a lot of choices for meals outside so it might be wise to eat in the city first.
The breakfast might be one of the best I've ever enjoyed at a hotel in my 37 years in Japan! The bacon is crispy, like in America, which I was happy to discover. All of the ingredients are of the best quality and expertly prepared.
Really, I can't praise this hotel enough. Each member of the hotel staff I encountered from the front desk, cleaning staff, and servers was professional and polite.
