We felt this hotel was too far away from any shops or restaurants, it was like being in Canary Wharf in London! There was a subway near bye, but that did not seem to connect easily to any other main line, so you need to walk 10 -15 minutes to a bigger subway line. The worst is that food stops in the bar at 8:30pm (!) and drinks at 9:30pm. Seriously! All the other restaurants in the hotel also shut around 9pm. Not very handy when you come in from a later flight. I know this is a big brand hotel chain, but the rooms were tired, the main shower poor (had to also use the hand shower to get any power), and there was no 'Japanese' feel to the hotel at all. Could have been anywhere in the world. Check in and checkout was slow, and very manual. Kind of like going back 10 years. The staff, though, were good, especially the concierge.

It is a lovely hotel with a fantastic view of the river, amazing breakfast buffet, and super convenient to catch the train anywhere you'd like to go!

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I saw some negative reviews regarding the staff but this was not my experience. I have been to Tokyo 4 times and haven’t had a bad experience with staffing or anywhere. It makes you wonder who’s leaving these poor reviews.

I got free upgraded room with view. I enjoyed the beautiful view everyday. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. I definitely will come back again! Try their breakfast omelette! It’s superb!

Great stay!
We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay! This hotel is luxurious and in a great location. We enjoyed the hotel buffet at Chef's Live Kitchen - ate there twice, once for sit-down in the dining room, once for the bento box takeout option. All the food was exquisite. The concierge was also very helpful when we learned our day trip to Mt. Fuji got canceled at the last minute. He recommended the Gray Line tour of Mt. Fuji and helped us make a reservation over the phone for a tour the next day.

This hotel has probably the best Tokyo bay view, which is beautiful at night. The room is spacious and clean. There’s a station close by that can get you to Ginza area easily.

Wonderful property in a good location. Staff is very polite and helpful. Lots of dining options in the hotel. Beautiful room with stunning views of the bay. 5 minutes to Ginza and easy train ride to Ueono. Close to the subway station. Easy to access other parts of the city.

Last night stay on a 6 days family trip
Stay for one night before flight back to US and a 2 days trip from Nikko. Stayed in this place before on multiple business trips because of the location (also member to the hotel chain). Came to Tokyo with family (wife and daughter)this time. Booked the room for 3 people with bay view. Arrived late (9pm) due to trip delay. Found room was only partially prepared for 3 people. Had 3 slippers but only 2 sets of towels and 2 bottles of water. Clock radio next to the bed was so age that you could barely read the time. Since the in-house restaurants were closed, had to go out to get dinner. Went to the front desk and informed them about the towels issue. Came back after to find a bag of towels was hanged at door instead of inside the bathroom. Overall disappointed in the level of service and the upkeep of the hotel. Things like this would not have happened before.
