Great stay in Tokyo

This is a great Hotel, we would definitely return.
As you walk in, you notice the classic European décor with plenty of marble, large open spaces and an inviting lobby. The check-in clerk was from Australia. She walked us up to the room and went through the amenities. We had a Junior Suite, and we had enough space for our family of four. They brought in two extra twin beds, so everyone had a comfy space to sleep. The bathroom was large with two sinks and there was a separate toilet room with a high-tech toilet.
The Junior Suite faces south. It looks over the Okuma Gardens and the Tokyo skyline. The Tokyo Tower and the Mori Tower are visible to the southwest and the nighttime view is stunning.
We were in Tokyo over the New Year's holiday. On New Year's Eve, the hotel hosted a complementary reception for guests in the lounge. They served soba noodles with a beer or soft drink, accompanied by live music. They also served sake in the lobby for New Year's Day.
The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood near Waseda University. This can be a welcome change from the frenetic activity in the popular tourist areas, but being near the University, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and subway is only a few minutes away. The hotel also has a free shuttle to the JR Line.
My only negative comment, is that the pool and exercise room require a hefty surcharge and you cannot use the exercise room without paying for the pool.
