Excellent location

Posted Aug 7, 2017
Rooms are very small but this is Tokyo! Don't bring large cases because there won't be room for you. Nice friendly hotel in the heart of Akihabara. Note that the reception is on the 6th Floor. There is a 24 hr supermarket on the ground floor of the building which is useful and you could not be closer to the station unless you slept on the platform. But the hotel is quiet!

Best hotel for users of the Japan Railway system.

Posted Aug 5, 2017
Pros: The staff, the rooms, the food, the location.
Cons: More snacks in the vending machines if possible.
Location: This hotel is located in the heart of Akihabra which is on top of a train station. You can visit all the major attractions in Tokyo with ease.
This hotel is in the absolutely best spot if your planning to stay in Tokyo and plan on using the public train system. The staff is by far the best I've done business with while traveling. the staff speaks English for anyone traveling from an English speaking country and the staff is the most polite and helpful people I have met in a hotel. The rooms are small for couples(we are both 5'9" and we were just at the limit) but I find that a plus and not a con for myself because I like cozy rooms and found it very comfortable. The views are fantastic to watch the city in motion and it is literally at the Akihabara station which makes rail travel the best way around town and its only a 3 minute ride to Tokyo station where you can catch a Shinkansen out of town. If you get the included breakfast it is a buffet and it is fantastic, the hotel itself partners with the restaurant on a lower floor and I ate there every day of my trip for breakfast and loved it every time. I will say the food everyday is the same but there is a large enough variety that you don't get burnt out. Included in the rooms are soap and shampoos as well as razors brushes and q-tips which add a great appeal if you have forgotten your travel stuff or haven't purchased any yet. I can't say enough good things about this hotel, it is definitely worth a look if your planning a trip to Tokyo.

Super location in central Tokyo

Posted Jul 28, 2017
Small but well designed room. Clean, compact, modern facilities. Super convenient location, less than 10 meters from Akiharaba station (Central Exit). For breakfast and quick bites there's Starbucks & McDonald's and lots of restaurants around. This is Electric City and nerd heaven, we spent hours in the 7 floors of Yodobashi Akira store then went to 8th floor for dinner.

Quiet, great location

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Excellent location, 5 min walk from Akihabara station. Small room but comfortable and quiet. Beware- the wall of the toilet and the shower is made of a transparent glass. Didn't really matter for me as I was staying alone but not sure it will work for friends sharing a room or even a couple.

3 night stay at Tokyo

Posted May 17, 2017 on Hotels
Hotel was very small but clean. I guess that is how Tokyo hotels are. Had to switch room due to smoking smell. Reservation was non-smoking. There is no tea or coffee in the room. Tea bag is available at the lobby. Overall, it was very reasonable.
