ok spot but can't help the poor customer service

the check in was an experience and not in good way, this hotel exemplifies the horrible Japanese customer service approach seen often, the customer has no choice, shouldn't ask for variance and should not expect someone will do anything other than the black and white or yes and no.
i arrived with luggage less than 60 min from policy check in time of 2:00, the hotel wanted to charge additional fee to let me into room prior with less than 60 minutes remaining...eventhough the room was cleaned already and empty. i couldn't even check in and get key to come back later, i had to return and restart whole check in procedure again....just horrible attitude by staff and front management
