Marriott = Shinagawa Station
Posted Apr 27, 2016
If you have problems sleeping or if trains passing by every 30 to 45 seconds during the day bother you, avoid this hotel.
Everything is in great shape, hotel staff is great, great food and service. Very clean. But the windows are not sound proof by any mean. They have double windows but don't work well because the railways are right there, I mean 6 or 7 railways, continuosly servig the Shinagawa Station.
The manager should call the manager of the Hilton at the Frankfurt Airport and ask for the name of the contractor that made the windows there. Absolutely soundproof.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at the Tokyo Marriott Hotel with us.
From your recent feedback, I am disappointed to learn that we fell short of your expectations.
I would like to take this time to apologize for the noise disturbance caused by Train.
Our aim is to provide all guests (especially you) with an unforgettable hotel experience and your honest feedback is an important part of that process. We sincerely apologize for our shortcomings and will share your feedback with the appropriate hotel team.
We have some rooms on the other side from Train rail, so next time you visit Marriott, we will definitely assign you on that side.
With some points, we fell short of meeting your expectations during your past stay, but I hope you will consider Tokyo Marriott Hotel on your next visit to Tokyo so that we can better deliver upon the guest experience you deserve.
