Wonderful HotelPosted Feb 17, 2018
Pros: The location and ambiance was absolutely fantastic. A pure joy to stay there.
Location: This hotel is directly next to the escaltor which takes you up to the old town where you can visit The El Greco Museum & the Cathedral & other sites.
This hotel is situated just off the ring road, so easy to locate. When we arrived we were able to park directly outside the front of the hotel even though there was a wedding taking place. A gentleman came out and asked if we needed help, we were helped with our luggage by a lovely friendly young man. We received a really lovely warm welcome by the Receptionist who showed us to what could only be described as a small suite. Very comfortable bedroom with side sitting area, plus a balcony and an outside terrace. They were very busy with weddings and communions, but the staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the hotel both evenings and had a wonderful experience and were able to sit in the garden area and watch the wonderful things happening, but on a very quiet beautifully set table. Regarding parking, we were able to park without cost, directly outside, but the municipal underground car park is very close and convenient.

Quiet comfortPosted Jan 8, 2018
A lovely place to stay in Toledo, at the base of the city its only a couple of minutes from the escalators to get to the top of town, making it quiet but easy to get to tourist sights. Other reviews complain about the entrance, and you do have to walk through a delightful garden/courtyard and up some stairs to reach the reception/hotel, but its clearly signed (and not a huge inconvenience to stay in a historical building). Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and shower was hot and excellent. We had a drink in the bar one night also and it was also great.

Lovely views from our room 207. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only one night was noisy due to a wedding. Music played till midnight. But that is normal in Spain staying up late.

Nice hotel in the old townPosted Oct 21, 2017
Pros: Location, clean, comfortable, great restaurant
Location: Toledo was great, I loved the Alcazar and the Cathedral was really impressive.
We wanted someplace inside the city gates. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was a true suite with a separate sitting room. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was fabulous. We had the Cardenal menu. The roast suckling pig was amazing, tender with crispy skin and delicious. The appetizers were also wonderful.

The Hacienda is unique and interesting. The breakfast was nice. We enjoyed staying here. We'd come back. The location was a little out of the way but not too bad.

Beautiful HotelPosted Oct 6, 2017
Pros: The gardens and location was great. Just as we expected from the pictures. We also loved our room over looking a private courtyard.
Cons: Prices in the dining room. As with most hotels around the world it was over priced with very few customers. The lounge menu was better value.
Location: Location was great in the old part of the city. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the pool and our room. Soaked up the history
My wife and I were on an extended trip to Europe and Morocco and decided to include a side trip to Toledo Spain. We booked the hotel based on reviews and the pictures on the internet. This was two day, one night trip from Madrid. We should have booked at least two nights to enjoy the hotel and surrounding area.
