If you have to sleep somewhere

Location: Bowling Green,Ohio. College town,family visits,borders close to Michigan
Did not feel real safe with the appearance of the doors. Could see light coming thru crack in entrance door. Missing stopper in bathroom sink, almost lost my toothbrush. Loud noises from people late night. I thought at one point they were right next to my door they were so loud. Power strip behind the bed for everything on one side of the room. Had to plug in to charge my device on the power strip, which was hard to reach and only 2 plugs left. The refrigerator didn't work so we had to load the cooler with ice and hope it was cold enough. The coffee pot cord was so short it didn't reach any outlets, which were not available anyway.The curtains were in poor shape and partially falling. The bed was hard, but was sleep able. We did not drive down to the "continental" breakfast because we didn't want to drive over there and didn't feel it would be worth it anyway.

I made the mistake of booking the room before reading the reviews. It is as bad as they say. We checked in and went to the room but could only get it open enough to tell it smelled funky. We went back to the desk and a man was qqcanceling his stay wanting hics money back because he was covered in bug bug bites. We chofsde not to stay and were told our payment would be credited back. After several calls to Hotels.com and the motel manager we did get our money back. I wil definately pay attention to the reviews before booking anywhere else.

Sometimes less is not the best

The room was in fair condition. The door looked like someone had kicked the door in and tried to repair before we got there.I was not satisfied but I was only there overnight and knew I didn't have to live there. Someone needs to upgrade the property.

Very disappointed

Was originally going to stay for two nights but when we arrived we didn't even want to stay one it looked like a truck stop the chairs in the room were stained the carpet was stained the room smelled like urine the door frame was cracked there were two doors for the room one only locked with the latch at the top the tub was cracked on the side and had plaster on it the toilet looked like it was from 20 years ago the sink was bad didn't feel safe staying there at all the mattresses were miss matched and very uncomfortable the only good thing there were the ladies at the desk when we checked in and out 8 hours later and hotels.com staff for refunding the second day stay never would I recommend this hotel to anyone
