Nice hotel

I needed a hotel last minute, and booked 20 min before I got there. The receptionist was a sweetheart and our room was very nice and clean.

Nice place to get work done and relax

Pros: Staff very friendly, rooms were nice
Cons: Pool area has plenty of space for hot tub Breakfast to go, wasn't available here
Location: North of Toledo, still away from downtown but 10 minutes from casino
Internet worked fine here. Pool was out of service and this isn't mentioned/advertised till you show up. The suite is awesome and Meijer is right across the street to get groceries and do your own cooking so you don't have to go out.

Disappointing for a Hampton Inn and Suites

I usually love the Hampton Inn, esp because we have 4 children,so a suite hotel is a must for us. This visit was just a romantic getaway for me and hubby. Room was clean and comfy, but a few things went awry. First I always have to ask to have down pillow replaced with foam due to allergy.. However they replaced them with more down pilows. Next there was an hour from 2-3 am when it sounded like boys were playing hockey upstairs and were going to fall through.As we called the front desk to ask for help, we only got busy signals. Also when the guests in this room above us showered, it sounded like our room was flooding. I was not so annoyed with the other guests but with the poor insulation in the place. Final poor service issue was poorly stocked breakfast. Empty coffee( for the entire time between 9:30 and 11 am. Also the person refilling the buffet would not check ingredients on food for my husband who has a milk allergy. We wont be back to this hotel. And we will think twice about visiting a Hampton Inn if another Suite hotel has an opening.

Great staff

Cons: Make noise policy clearer to wedding parties and enforce with a bond.
Location: Close to downtown
There was a wedding party at the hotel that was very noisy but the staff responded quickly and did the best that they could. Alexis was very helpful, pleasant and courteous.

Nice overnight stay

Pros: Very clean, love the hot breakfast, would have loved the pool but was too tired!
Location: Liked the location, came for the Art Museum and Botanical Gardens and added Tony Packo's on the way home. Love the Brownstone Tavern!!!
appreciated the welcome bag.....but the letter was to a Mr. Rudd? Better check the letters and rooms twice from now on. 😉

Very Nice Hampton Inn

Location: Did not venture out too much. Casino close by. Shopping across the street.. Nice location.
Very nice room. Clean. Bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast.

Everything about our stay was great. For the relatively low price we didn't expect much but the hotel far exceeded our expectations, 4 star for a 2 star price. We will return again.

Baseball tournament stay

Pros: The room was nice and even when the hotel was full there was not a lot of noise. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.
Cons: Staff could try to be more caring about problems and try to accommodate needs of the people staying and paying for their services.
Location: Good choice of restaurants fairly close. We traveled around a large area so didn't really visit any attractions.
This hotel is in a good area for food choices gas stations and such. It is clean and in good repair. Our main problem was with our key. We had to go to the desk at least 15 times during our 4 day stay to get our keys reprogramed. They would work once and then not work the next time. It was a great inconvenience. At one point we were told that it was our cell phones and credit cards causing the problem. This was the 5th hotel we stayed in this summer and our phones and credit cards never caused a problem with our keys before. Nevertheless, we stopped carrying them close to our phone and credit cards with no change. On the third day we were told that there was no maintenance man that day but they would try to have someone check tomorrow...the day we were leaving. After all the problems when we asked to check out an hour later than usual we were informed that was not possible.

Nice stay at the Hampton Inn

Cons: can't think of anything
Location: Was in town to visit family and this hotel was close to my relatives
Stayed for 2 days. Room was clean, staff was very responsive. I had a problem with TV, couldn't get the closed captioning option to turn off. The front desk person actually cam to my room to correct the problem.

Breakfast was from 6-10am. I went down at 9 and the sausage and eggs where cold and the bacon was empty.
