One night in Toledo
This hotel is right across the street from the train station. Front desk staff was helpful. We arrived early before our room was available so they checked our luggage for us. No frills at this hotel. There was a small restaurant area but it wasn’t open when we arrived. We didn’t spend much time in the room other than to rest. The bed was a little hard and the television was very small. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. I’d stay here again if I’m in Toledo for a night.

My room was in the 2nd floor facing the main street opposite a bus station. I asked for a quiet room at the reception I checked in, but my request was not entertained even in the quiet season. I asked for a kettle for boiling water but I was given no assistance in this regard. The room was tidy and clean. However, the shower room was tight and there was no extraction fan in the bathroom. I was not reminded by the reception that the cafeteria did not serve lunch when I went out in the morning. In general, the standard of the hotel could have been lifted up without much extra efforts.

Beautiful hotel only minutes from escalators
The hotel is beautiful in a heritage buildiing. It's only a 5 minute walk from the escalators that take you directly to the center of town. And there's a large free parking lot nearby so especially convenient if you arrive by car.

Great hotel if you are driving & stay in Toledo
We decided to stay in a hotel that offered parking and was right off the mean road. This made it very easy to get to the hotel and we didn't have to deal with the limited road access of staying in the main part of Toledo (up on the mountain). The reception staff was very nice and helpful - recommending things to see along with restaurants and bars. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the escalator. The hotel is also across from the train station, if you are coming in by train. Although the Princesa Galiana is not fancy it does have a quaintness about it. I would stay at the Princesa Galiana on my next trip to Toledo.

Location and Charm
Great value. Right across the street from the Renfe train station, this hotel was perfect for our needs. We walked across the river up to the old city and explored all of the wonders of Toledo on our own - no bus or tours required. The hotel is older, charming and clean with beautiful Moorish tiling, arches, and ornamental decorations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the customary offering of bread, pastries, ham, cheese, cereals, coffee, tea, and juice. It was presented nicely and the dining area was lovely. We had to keep our window closed because we had a street side room, but the location was worth the traffic noise. We would stay here again.

Convenient Hotel
The Hotel was adequate, more like a B & B. Good location a 15 minute walk to town centre. On the downside the breakfast was not good, stale bread rolls, tasteless cheese and ham, but there were lots of cereals that were ok. There is a good cafe next door, I suggest buy a toasted sandwich and coffee for 5 euros half the price of their breakfast. Carpark was 12 euros a day, limited spaces and across the road was a large free city carpark.

It's a must-visit place.
This hotel is in a fantastic location.Arriving by car or by train especially the latter since it is more or less just across the road. It is really quaint with a Moorish feel and an unusual dining room with a rock face decorated by plants. No restaurant, which is great because it makes you eat out in one of the many very pleasant restaurants up in the totally amazing city.

Nice hotel next to train station
Fine for a nights stay, would consider staying here again if I was only staying for a night or two. Beds very hard but that seems to be norm in Spain. Breakfast was sufficient, wasn't expecting anything special but at least it was tasty and I was satisfied. Easy to get around and perfect if you are travelling by train as it's just across the road :)

Walk to Old Toledo
We thought it was a very pretty hotel with a lot of character. The room was small but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was more than a continental breakfast but just okay. Loved that it was a close walk to Old Toledo and decent restaurants were nearby. We were able to find free parking on the street, but they do have paid parking available as well. It was a nice enough area so we felt safe parking on the street. We stayed in a front room which was off a busy street. There was a cute little balcony, but the street noise made it a bit unpleasant to spend much time outside. There was a double window, so the room was quiet enough when both windows were both closed. We asked to move to an inside room. They said that none were available, but the hotel seemed almost empty, so we didn't really believe them. No smoking signs were posted, but hallways had strong smell of smokers as we walked past.

ideal for visiting Toledo on foot
The staff were very helpful and we were given an upgrade to a large double room as our original room was next to the elevator. The hotel had some lovely traditional features like Spanish wall tiles in its decor.

Location is definitely not in the centre, but it is a nice walk up to the town. Car park at the hotel quite expensive. There are other places nearby at far better rates. Rooms are basic but decorated in keep with the ambience. They urgently need to include coffee facilities in the room as there isn't a proper restaurant at the hotel and food/drinks are prohibited in the hotel from outside. Staff friendly but not all that good at explaining places, local events or routes. They have a map and they just point the obvious by circling places with a pen and talking extremely fast in broken English. Always with a smile though. They need more experienced and useful staff. Breakfast is really one thing that is best to miss altogether. Dry, stale bread, sticky croissants and hard buns. A whole load of mass produced little condiments in disposable individual portions. No fresh fruit or fresh juice in sight. Processed ham and cheese, which is a shame as one of the region's trademarks is the production of excellent cheeses. Coffee and juices from a vending machine are simply undrinkable. I would not recommend this place because as good value as it is for your money, I enquired in other hotels right in the heart of town and I can assure you that you can easily get something better, closer and with a higher standard of breakfast food and amenities. I did not have one major thing to complain about but I was bitterly disappointed with it specially as it was a surprise for my partner. I was very tempted to just check-in at another hotel but just didn't fancy the hassle of going through the refunds process with the company I booked through. No major issues but the experience at this hotel leaves you with the feeling of having been short-changed.

The Hotel P. Galiana was wonderful. What a lovely hotel. Exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was as expected. Juices, coffee, croissants, muffins, toasts, yogurt and a small selection of ham and cheese.Plentiful and quite tasty. In a perfect location..right across from train station. And the historic district is a short 10-15 minute picturesque uphilll walk; or, if you prefer, you could take the bus which is just across the street. Just ask and they will provide map and bus info.

An inexpensive option rather than staying in Toledo old town itself. Buses easily available outside hotel; cheap, convenient and less than 5 minutes. Save your walking for the old town and you don't have to climb the hill. Not much choices for food nearby so beware if you need a meal. Breakfast at hotel was basic but for this price, there is nothing to complain. AIrcondition still has room for improvement but it is not unbearable as some other travellers have found.

This hotel is perfectly located, right next door to the train station and only a short 5-10 minute walk to the centre of the old town. The facilities are more than you'd expect for the very cheap price, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Room was perhaps reasonable if it was 50 euro for one night, but it was 135 euro! The room was tiled floor with wooden door which make noise. There were no refrigerator, no cups, no bath tub, even no bottle of water. Air conditioning did not worked. Wifi access was very weak and cannot load web.There was no shops and restaurants near the hotel except Chinese restaurant in front of Toledo station where large groups (50 or more) of Chinese travelers come and go every 30 mins. The hotel staffs are not bad. But I am sure I never come back.
