Great Location

Ok, this is not a 4 star hotel...it’s a bit tired and could use some renovation. However it’s not terrible...some peeling wallpaper, a sticky sliding door and a noisy shower head...but I’m not living here! The bed is comfy, room was clean and best of all...Christopher’s Pub is right down the hall. Full of friendly locals, and a great staff, this is a great place to eat and enjoy your favorite beverage. The food is great and reasonably priced, and there are specials every day. Bands on Saturday night make this a fun spot to hang out as well. We had our friends visit us here, so no driving for us! A great hotel and great hangout all under an orange roof! Highly recommended.

Could have been better

My five year old found a bottle cap under the bed. The toilet was not flushing when we arrived. We appreciated the fix before 8pm, but had to call and go to the front desk before receiving help. Enjoyed breakfast, thank you.

Thanksgiving Night 2017

Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Could use some updating.
Location: Lots of restaurants, bars near by.
My wife and I stayed here on Thanksgiving Night and thought it was good value for the money. It was located in a good area for restaurants, bars and retail stores. The room was super clean, although it could use some updating.

Strange scratches

Trying to sleep as I had to get up at 6 am and about 12:30, I woke up to something scratching/ biting inside the walls. Definitely a animal. Called front desk and he said it couldn’t possibly be that, the walls are concrete. I asked if there was another room And he said no. He showed up and of course it didn’t happen. He left and said call him if it happens again. It did and I didn’t call again. No more rooms to put me in. What was the point.... slept with a light on in case it was a rodent and that might keep him out. Disappointing.

We are sorry that it affected your peaceful night and we did not have another room to move you too. It is not unheard of for a small animal to find an exterior access point to get in, but unlikely they will get through the concrete. I understand this was unsettling just the same. I will ask the hotel to please place a call to their pest control company for a search of the area and check the room to be sure. Thank you.

Pros: Not much
Cons: need movie channels on tv...not just basic need checkout options on tv as well
Location: shopping..good restaurants
No movie channels on tv...very disappointing..had to ask for regular coffee in room ( makes no sense why they would only put decaff coffee packet in room only ) plus I had to go down to front desk to get it...seriously ? they couldn't walk down to my room down the hall ?? stupid...

What a dump

This "hotel" is badly in need of updating which has not been done for 30-40 years! Everything was old and shop worn. Our room had a hot tub in it which took up half of the bedroom space. The Entrance A door was supposed to be opened with a room key, would open just by pulling the handle. The breakfast bar closed at 9:00 a.m. Who gets up at 6:00-9:00 for breakfast while on vacation? Everything there felt dirty and there were creepy people wandering through the halls. I would NEVER go back there again.
