Nice suite of rooms but needs updating.

Closet in living room didn't close. Key given for 1 room at check in didn't work. But a new one was brought to us quickly. my credit card was debited $50. For a hold at check in. I have never had that happen before at a hotel checking. I called about this and was told this is how they do it but that a refund would be done within 5 business days. So a few small issues but solve able.

Spectacular lobby

To enter into the lobby is just phenomenal. You get a feel of being in the tropics for a moment. It's a wonderful way to welcome guests.

Nice hotel within 5 minutes of shopping and food

Pros: Location and availability of suites.
Cons: Elevator in the suite buildings.
Location: 20 minutes from beach, 5 minutes down route 70 to plenty of food and shopping choices.
We stayed at this hotel due to a funeral. We had a king fireplace suite. The room was very nice however the suites are in separate buildings which is a little weird. There are no elevators in the suite section which is also a little weird. The main hotel is very pleasant. The bar and grill are nice. Food is decent. We did have a bad experience with lunch though. We needed to get to the funeral home by 2pm and we decided to get lunch at 12. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get our food. No apps, just sandwiches. Another problem. I booked two nights on Expedia and then we needed a third night. Took awhile between Expedia and the hotel to book the additional night. Other than that, no complaints. It is about 20 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to food and shopping.

We were on the second floor and no elevator to assist with luggage. All floors has hard surfaces so every footstep and voice in the hallway was heard as if it were in the room. The room had no chair to sit in other than a desk chair. The pillows were foam and hard.

Good hotel with spacious rooms

Hotel is nice and well located. Rooms appear clean but smell awful. This is our 2nd stay. We thought the bad smell last time was just a fluke and reported to the front desk. This time we asked for another room. Apparently they all smell bad. Hope the staff will do something about it because the hotel is otherwise great.

Pros: Convenient.
Cons: Everything.
Noisy ( walls are paper thin), no housekeeping & no vanity in bathroom. Asked Expedia to book a King non-smoking room. Did not get what I requested. Will never use Expedia again.

It was an amazing experience. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was great. The pool was awesome. Definitely staying again!
