Close to the campus, good price.

This is usually where we stay when we come to visit our daughter at KU. Over the past 4 years, I've noticed a decline in cleaniness. I feel the hotel needs a slight makeover to give it an 'I've just been remodeled look'. A nice coat of paint would be refreshing. We are coming back to Kansas in May, and we are not sure if we are staying here again. Overall, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. Staff was nice

Pros: NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE!!
This hotel is not bad for the price..............free breakfast was ok, seemed clean, good hotel if your trying to stay cheaper!

Avoid this hotel.

The room was dirty, the hotel was in in disrepair and dirty as well. The breakfast was far from appealing... I will not stay here again.

In town for a tournament

Pros: The front desk was polite and accommodating the entire stay.
Cons: Breakfast choices were poor. Eggs would help. Bacon or sausage too.
Location: So close campus and downtown. Very easy to navigate.

poorly kept

Pros: It was quiet and close to highway
Cons: room cleanliness and upkeep of property
Location: highway nearby
given key upon check in, went to room to find that there were empty beer bottles in room and the bed was not made/clean. Went to get a different room and was given a room that was very musty, water stains on bathroom wall and bedroom ceiling/wall with peeling of the drywall. It looked like it had been a problem for a while that was not addressed. Didn't go ask for a different room, we already went from bad to worse and was worried about the next option.

Definitely overpriced for the quality of the room. towel racks coming off, stains and holes on the upholstery, cobwebs on the walls and ceilings.

Carpet was old and stained. There is only 1 elevator for the entire place. We had a trail of ants in our room. There was no cable tv, only antenna digital channels. The bathroom was ok. Marble counter top and not too small. One would think for the price they are charging the accommodations would b better. Probably won't stay there again.
