Pros: The room was great! Fantastic shower! Very comfortable bed and great pillows.
Cons: Wish the breakfast was included. The free coffee by the front desk was always empty.
Location: Easy on and off highway.

Not really a Hilton...yet

Pros: That it's in Lawrence and seemed clean enough.
Cons: No cookie. Reserved a king room but was given queen. Sundry shop is tiny. Remodeled design resulted in dark, bland spaces. Building not secured.
Location: Lawrence is a great location, and this hotel is not far from downtown.
This hotel is open as a Doubletree, but it's still going through renovation. So don't expect a hot cookie or Hilton-like accommodations, at least not yet. The renovation plan they chose is weird. They walked up the interior balconies and replaced them with tiny windows, so if you get an interior room, be prepared for a dark, creepy space. It was better as the Holidome. Most alarmingly, because it's still under construction, they leave all of the back exit doors unlocked and completely unsecured ALL NIGHT. So any creeper can just walk on in.

Room was like a cave

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Let potential guests know what they're in for!
Location: Close to the University of Kansas
We were not told that the hotel was under construction. There was a view of an inside construction wall out of our window, it was horrible, like we were completely closed in a cave. The elevator did not work, sheets were horrible and beds were like trampolines! The manager gave us a $27 credit on our bill...that was disappointing!

Not the worst, but far from the best!

This hotel was not terrible, but also not great. My biggest complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable. There was also mold on our shower curtain which was unpleasant. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast.

Unfortunately the hotel is under construction which we were NOT aware of upon booking. The pool was closed and the sink didn't work well. We changed rooms to find the shower didn't work well, then the hot water was turned off without notice. The HD TV was nice, however, they have no HD channels. Ugh!

Hotel is under complete renovation, stay away!!!!!

Hotels . Com did not list this hotel as being under renovation. The entire place was a mess and should have shut down instead of allowing a portion of rooms to be used for guests. It will be nice when the renovation is done but until then avoid at all costs. I used free nights towards the stay and should have cancelled when I had to register at the bar which was the temporary front desk.

Boulevard Grill was TERRIBLE. I didn't even eat my food and the bartender DAVE would not even consider meeting me in the middle with an edible meal or partial credit...

Good except for Renovations

The stay was good, however I wasn't warned of renovations that were ongoing at the time. Otherwise my stay was quite pleasant
