There was no heat in the room. The outside temperature was 40 degrees. April in Kansas requires a heater. The TV remote was not programed to the TV in the room. Bathroom light flickered on and off. A few pre packaged rolls and no decaf coffee isn't breakfast.

When traveling, I don't get too picky because a hotel is generally just a place to sleep. We were in town for a late night concert and didn't want to drive back home 3 hours, so we stayed the night. The staff were nice when they checked us in. The room, however, was not great. Think Breaking Bad style. AC didn't work, one of the light flickered when you turned it on. Water pressure in the shower was too weak to get the club stank off us. The sheets were clean though but it was too hot in the room to crawl under. Can't comment on the breakfast, we just went to QuickTrip. Overall, this didn't even reach the generally low bar of Super 8's. Do better guys.

Hotel did not have AC available at the time of our stay - in the whole hotel. Old HVAC system that had not been changed. This was not advertised up front. Above 80 degrees in the room when we got there at 10pm. Neither hotel nor Expedia were willing to refund the money.

The walls were interrible condition the linens on the bed were horrendous, and had to go buy sheets, and a blanket. There also was no spoons or forks. It was quiet though.

After checking in, the room apparently only had partial maid service from the previous night. Dirty towels in a pile by the door, no fresh towels, no toiletries or hand soap, dirty sink, etc. When it was brought to the clerk’s attention, the only options offered were to downgrade to a different room or check out. Finally talked them into at least fresh towels and some hand soap. Overall a pretty disappointing experience.

The super 8 central AC was not working and they did not let any of their guest know in advance. I spoke with the manager to be compensated and they outright refused as if they didn’t need to disclose that information.

The tv in our first room did not work. In our next room our shower barely turned on. The room was dirty. A straw and bottle cap were left on the floor and there were stains on the sheets. The front staff was very nice.

Room had a smoke and moldey smell, and HVAC system didn't work. It was too hot, couldn't turn the fan off or the air conditioning on. Had to open the window, it was 27 degrees outside and still in the 80's in the room. There was black mold on the ring of the toilet and toilet seat. The shower wallpaper opposite the door was peeling off the wall. There was black mold in the bottom right corner of the shower. I didn't dare look behind the peeling wall paper. No washcloths were provided.

Room was clean. Bathroom (pocket) door was broken, would not close at all. Only decaf coffee in the room, no sugar, cream, stir sticks. Remote for TV was not programmed to work the TV. Clock was very hard to set. I never did figure it out. The security lock (that you flip over) was missing screws and was loose. “Breakfast” consisted of coffee, bananas, orange juice and half & half. That’s it.

To begin with, we were given one room, and the TV would not connect to the satellite dish, so we asked for another room, and they did give us that. However, we have the same issue, no TV connectivity to the satellite dish. There was no shampoo in the shower. No cups for water or coffee. The hallways and steps in the facility looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a few weeks. We used to stay there quite often a couple years ago, before the change of ownership, and the facility was so much better back then. Was also disappointed in the fact that they no longer have the breakfast downstairs that they used to have, but only some small cinnamon rolls and muffins or something.

TV did not work properly, would mute itself for 15 minutes or so. I selected a room with a corner soaking tub and got a room with a shower only. Bathroom small, refrigerator freezer area not functioning did keep things cold only lamps for lighting, alarm clock didn’t work. Disappointed. Our friends stayed there also and their room was the room I selected and paid for also, but did not get.

Overall, OK
TV didn't work and I needed highway conditions info for the next morning, which I used my phone to get. Hot water was lukewarm at best, so no shower potential during cold weather. The Staff was great with no issues checking in or out. The property itself is rather old and less maintained.

The carpets were so dirty they turned my socks black. The ceiling in the shower was peeling and falling off. The bathroom wasn't clean. Dirt on counter and in tub. Dirt on the floor. Sink would not drain. Mini fridge wasn't plugged in. Curtain rail was hanging out of the ceiling. No trash can. Trash behind the furniture. Broken crack pipe in the floor. Carpets not vacuumed. Blankets satined and with burn holes. Sheets stained. Food in the walls. I got the hotel so my family and I had a place to stay while our apartment was getting ready. I had to clean and disinfectant the entire room to my best ability just to make it safe for my child. I didn't have the ability to shampoo the carpets because they were disgusting. The Internet was slow. Breakfast was not served. Housekeeping never came to the room the entire week. So I'm glad I had my own towels and bedding. There were drug deals in the hallway by a woman in a bathrobe wearing an ankle monitor. Someone drank themselves to death down the hall from our room. The heater was only on or off so it was either too hot or too cold with no options of in between. Fan in the bathroom didn't work. Two of the three lights in the bathroom flickered on and off randomly. One of the lamps couldn't be plugged in because it overloaded the outlet. This hotel needs to be closed and completely renovated because the issues are beyond just cleaning at this point. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Front desk clerk was wonderful. She was so friendly and helpful and greeted with a smile. Lock missing on door. Night stand lamps were up on wall, I had to get out of bed to turn them on or off. Packages of coffee but no coffee maker. Site states there’s a hair dryer, but there was no hair dryer.

Several light switches did not work or control anything. There was no bathroom fan. The light around the mirror was erratic. There was visible mold several places around the room. The lavatory faucet handle was missing a set screw so it would pop off in your hand. Breakfast consisted of a very meager selection of Little Debbie type miniature snacks and coffee. One of the sorriest continental breakfast I've seen. I would not recommend anyone to stay here particularly if you have any mold allergy problems

Truly horrible experience and even worse customer service. Also very disappointed in hotels.com. Based on the other reviews from today/this weekend, it should be blatantly obvious that this is a hotel issue and not a customer issue. The pictures used to advertise the hotel DO NOT COME CLOSE to matching what is inside the rooms. Entire place was disgustingly dirty as others have mentioned, the toilet overflowed but since I didn't take a picture of it they don't believe us. Who thinks to take a picture of an overflowing toilet? Disgusting.

Okay for overnight
The room was uncomfortably hot, and when the air was turned on hot air continued to blow, could not regulate temperature at all. Bathroom floor is in desperate need of replacement. Pillows also need a major upgrade.

Don't Stay Here!
We checked in and found our room uncomfortably warm. Tried to cool it down, but discovered that the ac unit had been removed and the wall patched. Talked to attendant at front desk, but there was no other room to move us to. She called the manager and was told that if we didn't like it we could leave. Over paid for this room as the price triples on game day. Worst lodging experience ever.

Our toilet was clogged on arrival. Started overflowing and went to get help at front desk. We were given a plunger and some towels to soak up the water. After discussing with the front desk, they gave us a new room. The new room smelled like the Marlboro Man had just finished a carton of cigs before we walked in. It was enough to make my kids gag. We ended up leaving and staying with some family members.

The room was not cleaned before we had arrived..there were bugs in the ac..bugs in the mini fridge..hole in wall..stains..it smelled so bad in my room I had to spray my perfume (which is expensive) just to mask the smell..broken tv that it took until Saturday to replace (so we only had a tv for 1 night of our stay).. people were not looking or acting like they enjoyed their job..I would never stay again.

It appeared to be old and run down. I would recommend a complete face lift. When you opened the doors to the hallways and room, they lingered of cigarette smoke which triggered allergies.

The rooms were gross they hadn’t been cleaned at all. Very dated and dirty, mildew in the showers, very likely bodily fluids on the bed skirt. I didn’t expect much for the price, but basic cleanliness would’ve been appreciated. 0/10 would not recommend anyone who’s is not actively addicted to drugs staying here.
