very poor quality hotel

We stayed at the Quality Inn in Lawrence Kansas. I picked this hotel because they said they had a fitness room and the price was very affordable. The fitness room is the worst I have ever seen. The bicycle was literally wobbly, unstable, handles moving back and forth, in short, unrideable. The "eliptical" which was an extremely trimmed down version of an eliptical - more of a VERY VERY cheap piece of equipment which was very flimsy, squeaked the entire time I was on it. The treadmill wouldn't start. An empty water dispenser was displayed in the room. I checked the next day to see if it was filled with water and it was not. The room overall was pretty unpleasant looking but I would have stayed to work out if the equipment worked!
The stairwells up to the third floor where our room was located featured wall paper that was filthy. There was an overall strong, unpleasant, perfumy, aroma in the halls on the mainfloor and in the hallway of the third floor.
Finally, my husband had medications stolen from a pillcase in the bathroom, two days in a row. The first day he thought perhaps he left a dose of two medications at home. On the second day the pills were missing he knew that they had been taken by someone.
