The night manager tried to get me to give him a cash deposit for $25 to $50 if I charged it on my card. My son had a crack head at the window of the car when I went inside to get the key for 2 minutes. The room had a bad smell and we didn't use the shower because it looked very dirty. You can hear everything through the walls.

The room was large. The bathroom was clean and the shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. The bed was comfortable. The staff was certainly pleasant. The motel has good access to Topeka Blvd. and Kansas Ave. That said there was a lingering odor that is difficult to describe.

Very cheap for the area. If you're , driving through, this is an excellent choice for a cheap night at a hotel.

Budget friendly for a short visit.
Receptionist was friendly. The facility was in decent shape and the pricing was affordable. Room did not have a light switch by the door, so if I planned on being gone till late, I had to leave a lamp on so I could see when entering the room. Light over sink was fluorescent and the ignitor was going out. Electrical and lighting upgrades definitely needed. Overall, the accommodations met my needs for my purpose in Topeka.

Samantha, you didn’t have any money to pay for the room. So how can we check you in? To make payment by credit card, credit card must need to be present. You did not have credit card with you. Someone else reserved your room with their card, but we can not charge this card if it is not present.

Brad, you did not stay at all at our hotel. You came and said I already paid, which was not true. You also did not have credit card with you, which you have used for reservation. You just kept saying that I paid to EXPEDIA. But no one has charged you. We only collect the payment from guest at the hotel.

Jesse, thank you for staying with us for six nights. During your entire stays with us you did not report any issues to us. You had "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door all the time during your stay. We do not have any idea, what you did not like about our service or hotel? Just curious that you did not have great stay at our hotel, but you did stay six nights!

Comfortable bed, generally good shape for the age of the property, though there were some holes in the ceiling drywall and bathroom tile work needs some refurbishing. The only real problem we had, which is not a problem of the hotel, is that at about 10:30 at night, a man knocked on our door asking for spare change.

When we were ready to check out the morning after our one night stay, the office door was locked with a sign on the door that there was no vacancy. We had to slip the plastic key between the center of the two entrance doors.

The room was greasy. There was duat and grease caked onto the walls. There was a terrible odor coming from the A/C unit. Dead bugs in the dressers. Mold in the tub. Floors were filthy. Beds were sleeping on the floor. Residue in the electrical sockets. Hotel next door had billigerent guest. No breakfast. Coffee only. For $150 a night. Seriously. Manager was especially rude. Do not stay here.

Darnell, you have reserved room with AX Card, which we do not accept. We have informed you but you did not provide new credit card. So we cancelled your reservation. When you arrived at hotel we were sold out of our all standard rooms. All we have left were KITCHENNETE ROOMS, which are not quality rooms and we told you about that and said if you like you can stay and you decided to stay. People were paying $150 for the rooms during that night. All other hotels in town were charging $200 to $300. We are sorry that you had to pay that much for this type of rooms.

We booked the room on the road on kayak and checked in at midnight. The check-in process was easy and quick. The entire building and rooms just seemed tired and outdated. Sheets were stained but seemed clean. Room kind of smelled old. No ice machine. Lampshades tattered. Bed was okay.

Possibly one of the most depressing motels, have ever stayed at. Rough looking and shady people walking around in the evening too. But that's Topeka, in many respects, so should be not surprised but it does seem to be alot more around this motel.

The rooms were clean though needed some minor repairs. I got there around dusk and there were some people hanging around the building and one of them walked through the parking lot singing loudly which was a little unsettling. Overall it's a decent place to stay for the night.

Room was clean and well maintained. TV was only a 32 inch so it seemed a little small. The lobby area was locked and you had to be buzzed in. This was a little unwelcoming but the staff was friendly.

Clean room and comfortable bed.
